Overview:
A-J’s stainless steel diffusers and grilles are made to withstand the elements encountered in placements of extreme heat or cold, as well as in damp or corrosive environments. We also meet the demanding requirements of durability, low maintenance and dependable performance necessary for hospitals, labs, wash down areas, salt or chlorine air environments, food processing plants and wastewater treatment facilities.
304 or 316 Stainless: A-J’s complete line of stainless steel products are offered in either Type 304 or Type 316 stainless with a standard #3 satin polish finish. This sleek streamlined appearance will satisfy the most demanding architectural requirements. And, unlike other manufacturers, our adjustable blade grilles utilize specially formulated nylon grommets to secure our blades. This insures a snug, rattle-free quiet grille. A-J also utilizes airfoil shaped blades and 3/4” spacing. This combination allows the grilles to maintain a very high free area, which further minimizes outlet velocity, pressure drop and noise.

Architectural lattice and perforated grilles can be an economical solution for applications requiring low profile durable grille coverings for supply or return air, in ceilings, sidewalls, sills, transoms, baseboards, soffits, electrical and equipment cabinet ventilation or any opening that requires a rugged covering. Grilles can be supplied in painted steel, aluminum, stainless steel, brass and bronze in thickness ranging from 20 ga. (.035) up to ¼” steel. Optional hole patterns and designs can be manufactured for special job requirements.

Steel and Aluminum non-vision transfer grills allow air circulation with a sightproff grille area. No- vision and no- vision no- light (darkroom) grilles are constructed from steel or aluminum inverted v-blades that allow maximum air distribution in a non vision package and are used in doors and partitions for ventilation of non ducted areas. Our U.L. rated fuseable link grilles can satisfy those job requirements where a fire rated door assembly needs ventilation.
