Albi is the first manufacturer of a water-based, thin-film, intumescent fireproofing material for structural steel listed by Underwriter's Laboratory, Inc. This testing is your guarantee of a safe, effective, environmentally proven fireproofing material. In fact, ULI environmental tests are extremely stringent when compared with other testing bodies in the world.

Albi Clads have always passed all accelerated, simulated environmental tests- without a top-coat- since the origins of such tests by Underwriters' Laboratories Inc. All Albi products are designed to meet virtually every relevant local, state, and regional building codes, including BOCA, SSBCA, and ICBO.
