|
Scandia SK series generators are made from 100% stainless steel and engineered for performance and reliability. The innovative "green steam" feature provides maximum energy savings while allowing levels of user control. Lower temperature can be maintained via 7 day programmable timer and instant steam can be initiated when steam bathers enter the room. The result is considerable energy cost savings and a lower carbon footprint.
Scandia’s engineering innovation delivers the industry’s only auto de-scaling feature that can be automatically scheduled by maintenance staff, therefore site owners do not rely on the traditional manual de-scaling schedule of the maintenance staff. An estimated 60% of commercial steam generator failure is due to improper or inconsistent maintenance. The Scandia SK series removed human error and greatly increases the live-time-value of the steam generator. The SK Series steam generator package includes integrated auto-drain system (external auto-drains require field installation and are prone to damage and miss-installation), IE control panel for 7 day programmable control and the in-room “hot start” controller and a choice of steam head options to fit your design or application.

Aroma Guard III
|
The Scandia AromaGuard series aroma pumps are the most intelligent aroma pumps available. Three different electronically controlled models supports an additional fragrance. The AromaGuard 3, for example, supports three different types of aromas that can be automatically programmed by frequency, duration and type. This high-level control is important for adjusting aroma distribution based on room size and application. Mechanically, the AromaGuard features a built in non return valve to prevent backflow and a “run-dry” sensor that indicates when a fragrance tank is empty and eliminates potential damage to the pump system.

Eco-Sauna
|

The customized sauna panels are made from 100% recycled medium-density fiberboard overlaid with Grade A, Clear, Western Red Cedar. The eco-sauna is a traditional cedar sauna with an innovative design that reduces the use of new-growth wood by 70% while maintaining the traditional cedar sauna design. From a performance perspective, and the user perspective, the Eco-Sauna is an authentic cedar sauna.
The Eco-Sauna’s advantage is in the innovative design and base material selection that significantly reduces new-growth material usage and increases the use of ecofriendly materials. The Am-Finn Eco-Sauna contributes to the following LEED credits.

The Eco-Sauna and Hybrid Steam Room are now certified by Greener Products. January 2011 - We are excited the Am-Finn Hybrid Steam Room and Eco-Sauna are now certified by Greener Products. The Eco-Sauna has a low VOC (volatile organic compound), is made of recycled content and is considered rapidly renewable. Our Hybrid Steam Room received certification under the low VOC's and energy efficiency. Currently we have shown that our Hybrid Steam Room can reduce energy costs by up to 50% compared to running a traditional steam room.
