Amtico International has changed the look of resilient flooring at home and in business and continues to do so.
In the 1960’s resilient flooring choices were limited. If you did not want carpet you had the choice of boring looking lino or synthetic vinyl tile. Amtico International changed all that.
Throughout our 40 year history we have continually pushed at the boundaries of design and technology. We were the first to develop the printing and manufacturing processes that allowed the realistic wood and stone look products to be created, using a unique form of lamination developed by the team at Amtico International.
These products have become established throughout most of the world and have become one the fastest growing flooring categories as a result.
In recent years, Amtico International has also pioneered the development of unique, innovative flooring materials based on metallic pigments. These have given commercial designers and residential purchasers freedom to make a very strong design statement.
This innovation has changed the way that the world perceives flooring and have helped to make Amtico a household name in many parts of the world. And we continue to find new ways to redefine flooring design.
