Overview:
AGM Container Controls, Inc. has been in the container hardware business since 1970. With the enactment of the ADA in 1990, AGM realized there was an opportunity to provide improved access to stages and platforms for individuals with disabilities. Accordingly, AGM began producing vertical portable wheelchair lifts in 1992 and created the Ascension product division in 1995. Innovation continues to be a trademark in the development of each Ascension wheelchair lift. In 2007, Ascension has taken the next step in its evolution as an accessibility provider with the introduction of a permanently-installed vertical wheelchair lift.

The Ascension Virtuoso 5460F permanently-installed vertical wheelchair lift can be used in any type of construction work. The lift is an excellent choice for stages, elevation changes, and overcoming other architectural barriers in a variety of public and commercial building types.
The design of the Ascension Virtuoso 5460F makes it the premium vertical wheelchair lift for customers that want more than just the status quo. First and foremost, the lift does not require a tower as part of its construction, representing the most immediate visual and aesthetic difference between the Ascension lift and other vertical lifts on the market. The Ascension Virtuoso 5460F also does not have an access ramp, so patrons can enter the lift directly at floor level.

The Ascension Virtuoso vertical portable wheelchair lift provides access to stages, platforms and risers for individuals with disabilities. The lift is a completely self-contained compact unit, requiring no additional components. The portability feature makes it possible for public facilities to save on the cost of installing multiple fixed lifts or ramps (to say nothing of the floor space taken up by ramps!) since one Ascension Virtuoso lift can serve multiple locations.
The Ascension Virtuoso vertical portable wheelchair lift is available in two standard models: the Ascension Virtuoso 4860P (48" long platform) and the Ascension Virtuoso 5460P (54" long platform for individuals in oversized wheelchairs and scooters).

Every Ascension Virtuoso 5460F vertical wheelchair lift provides full compliance with ASME A18.1, ASME A17.5, ADAAG, ANSI A117.1, and NFPA 70 (NEC). The lift is also CE marked for European distribution.
