Founded in 1981, Big D Metalworks is an experienced fabricator of custom Monumental Stairways, glass and metal handrail systems, modular handrail systems and other ornamental metal projects. The Big D team includes a CAD design department, artisans who integrate modern technology with old-world craftsmanship and an experienced project management team. The results are unequalled value for our customers.
Big D Metalworks has expertise in manufacturing ornamental metal applications as demonstrated by the many awards we has received including over 25 Top Job Awards and 2 Mitch Heitler Awards from the National Ornamental and Miscellaneous Metals Association, 6 Excellence in Construction Awards from Associated Builders and Contractors, 7 Craftsmanship Awards from the Washington Building Congress, and Craftsmanship Awards from the Dallas and Chicago chapters of the AIA. We are also certified as an ABC Certified Accredited Quality Contractor.
