Overview: Carlisle's more than 40 years of manufacturing experience, over 10 billion square feet of membrane sold and nearly 250,000 warranted installations, positions the company as the single-ply roofing market leader. This role has been achieved through superior customer service and product innovation designed to enhance roof system performance and sustainability. When recently surveyed, architects and specifiers throughout the country, rated Carlisle superior to others for design and technical support and long-term warranties.
Polyisocyanurate (Polyiso)
Carlisle’s FAST 100 adhesive, and is compatible with all Carlisle roof systems. Carlisle manufactures its own polyiso in a number of production facilities strategically located throughout the United States, giving Carlisle the ability to fully satisfy the need for this increasingly popular material.
Tapered Polyiso
Carlisle manufactures tapered polyiso, an energy-efficient insulation designed to minimize heating and cooling costs while promoting positive rooftop drainage for virtually any roofing application.
Expanded Polystyrene (EPS)
Carlisle also manufactures tapered expanded polystyrene (EPS), a high-performance insulation that promotes positive rooftop drainage and provides superior dimensional stability, compressive strength and water resistance for virtually any roofing application.
Carlisle Roof Garden GreenGrid® System incorporates pre-planted “module trays” in lieu of traditional above
membrane components (i.e., drainage boards, root barriers, moisture mats, growth media, etc.).
The lightweight, “module trays” are composed of recycled plastics (60% post industrial recycled high-density
polyethylene - HDPE) and arrive at the building site ready for installation. Tray sizes are 2’ x 4’, 2’ x 2’, 2’ x 2’
triangle, or 40” x 40” with a tray depth of 4” (for extensive/shallow garden systems). As a special order product
requiring lead time, 8” deep modules are available for intensive/deep garden systems.
Carlisle’s Sure-Flex PVC membranes are ENERGY STAR®-rated and CRRC-certified, offering building owners the potential for decreased cooling costs. Sure-Flex PVC also offers excellent resistance to rooftop chemicals, including acids, oils and greases.
Carlisle’s roof systems are installed using three quality methods, each with their own specific benefits, depending on your building’s location and climate.
