Overview: Prior to 1992, Citadel Architectural Products, Inc. was the Architectural
Panels Division of the Weyerhaeuser Company. It was at that time we became
a privately held corporation and moved our operations from Tacoma, Washington
to a more centrally located facility in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Then in 1999, a management buyout was initiated as we completed our transition to a completely employee owned company. To date, we have accumulated over 35 years of industry experience in lamination technology. It is this type of experience, along with a commitment to quality, which helped lay the groundwork for obtaining ISO 9001:2000 Certification in 2002.
We also offer the service that comes with a nationwide representative and
distributor network. It is this network that has helped us develop a strong presence
in the domestic marketplace as well as providing the groundwork for sending our panels worldwide including: North & South America, Asia, Antarctica, and Europe.
With a variety of different panel options available, we have a solution for all
your exterior cladding needs from lightweight plastic composites to impact resistant
materials such as plywood and thermoset phenolic resin.
A composite panel made by laminating either textured or smooth
prefinished aluminum skins to a core of high density polypropylene. A second
aluminum skin is added as a backer and provides panel balance.
Similar to SinoCore®, ProCore panels are lightweight, water resistant, and may be field curved (for large radius requirements). However, ProCore moldings are flat and the
panel is slightly thicker for increased performance.
A composite panel for exterior use made by laminating an aluminum skin to a substrate of thermoset phenolic resin. It is impact resistant, water resistant, and provides ultimate smoothness in a wide variety of finishes.
This system is designed for use as exterior cladding on walls, canopies, fascias, and accent bands.
However, Envelope 2000® is also ideal for other applications where a high end look is desired.
As an alternative or complement to glass, our line of glazing infill panels offers
a variety of colors and finishes (including anodized material to match storefronts).
No moldings are used in the installation of the glazing panels.
A composite panel for use as a glazing infill made by laminating
two prefinished aluminum skins to substrates of tempered hardboard. These stabilizers
surround a expanded polystyrene (EPS) or isocyanurate (ISO) foam core.
A composite panel for use as a glazing infill made by laminating two prefinished aluminum skins to a substrate of tempered hardboard. On the other side
of the panel a gypsum board stabilizer is used for increased fire resistance.
Designed to meet the requirements of the 'cleanroom type' environment, these panel
systems provide a non-progressive installation, an economical option when compared
to other systems, and a variety of substrate options to match your specific needs.
This system is designed for use
as interior cladding on walls in cleanroom type applications. However, Premier is
ideal for other applications where an easily maintained surface is the primary concern.

However, Xylem® is ideal for other applications where a durable and easily maintained
surface are primary concern.
Similar to CleanCote® Premier, Sentinel is impact resistant, water resistant,
and provides ultimate smoothness. However, Sentinel is installed using moldings
with a nearly flat profile to reduce dust collection.
A composite panel for interior use made by laminating an
aluminum skin to a substrate of type-x exterior grade gypsum board. This system is
designed for use as interior cladding on walls in cleanroom type applications.
Similar to CleanCote® Premier, BioWall is impact resistant, water resistant,
and provides ultimate smoothness. However, BioWall® offers a smooth or suede
melamine skin as opposed to the aluminum skin standard on Premier panels.
For general washdown conditions (i.e. restrooms, kitchens, locker rooms) these
panels provide a number of substrate options from lightweight plastic to durable
plywood or osb. These economical systems are trimmed using pvc moldings.
A composite panel for interior use made by laminating a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skin to a
substrate of douglas fir plywood.
These panels are designed to provide an
easily maintained surface for interior wall applications including: kitchens, restrooms,
locker rooms, food processing plants, animal shelters.

fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skin to a
substrate of type-x gypsum board.
A composite panel for interior use made by laminating a fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skin to a
substrate of high density polypropylene.
EnviroGuard LUA is a composite panel for interior use made by laminating a
fiberglass reinforced plastic (FRP) or high density polyethylene (HDPE) skin to a
substrate of luaun.
Our exterior panel systems are available in a wide range of STANDARD and
PREMIUM (not shown) colors in both smooth and textured aluminum finishes.
We also can provide virtually any CUSTOM color to match your design requirement.
