Founded in 1951, Clayton Block Co., Inc. has stayed on the cutting edge of construction material technology. 2005 brought the start-up of new state-of-the art block and concrete production plants in Lakewood, NJ.
Clayton Block is capable of producing different block shapes, designs and textures and has successfully worked with architects and contractors to design and manufacture custom block for specific projects. Newer block additions are polished GlasStone architectural CMU and ABFence, an addition to the Allan Block Segmental Retaining Wall family. In 2006, the new Garden State Paver Collection, manufactured by Clayton Block was introduced to the marketplace.
Clayton Block has found unprecedented acceptance of this superior product by contractors, landscapers and homeowners. Clayton Block also offers customers a full line of split, ground and polished architectural block designs that have been selected for some of New Jersey's most beautiful buildings. The Clayton Group of Companies includes not only Clayton Block Co., Inc., but Ralph Clayton and Sons and Clayton Sand Company. These two entitites supply ready-mix concrete and sand for the building industry in the New Jersey marketplace.
