Beginning in 1898 with a single quarry and a hardworking stonecutter, Coldspring has become one of the largest natural stone manufacturers serving commercial, landscaping, memorialization and residential customers.
Many still know us as a granite company, even though we have been much more than a granite company for a long time. Our expertise also includes the manufacturing and distribution of bronze memorials and signage, diamond tools, cemetery building consulting and construction services, and other materials including marble, limestone, sandstone and composites for specialized applications.
Coldspring continues to thrive through creativity, diligence and determination. Motivated by our customers’ success, we continue to embrace and develop technology, create new products for the marketplace and foster a business culture that supports industry-leading sustainability practices.
Just like every project requires something a little different, every piece of granite has its own characteristics and we welcome your visit to one of our various quarries to ensure you find exactly what you're looking for. Because we own and operate our quarries, we control the source, so we can meet demanding delivery schedules, provide large and unique pieces of stone, and match colors on projects that were fabricated and installed decades ago.
You can specify Kasota Valley Limestone in different color tones, color blends, cuts and finishes, allowing you to meet the functional and aesthetic requirements of almost any building or landscape project.
Coldspring Rockville Beige and Lac Du Bonnet granites possess superior resistance to temperature extremes, acid corrosion and abrasion, making them highly effective lining material for new pickling tank construction, as well as for custom-fabricating a variety of replacement pieces for both granite and brick-lined tanks.
We leverage both Building Information Modeling (BIM) and precision production capabilities to provide exceptionally tight fits, while also producing duplicate parts as a repetitive process rather than individually by hand. Simply provide the dimensions and piece identification and we'll take care of the rest. Throughout the design process, our drafters will leverage BIM to offer time-saving suggestions, guarantee design efficiency and optimize quality of construction.
Available Colors: Academy Black®, Carnelian®, Iridian®, Lake Superior Green®, Mesabi Black®, Rockville White®, and Sierra White

Stone is one of the most durable materials you can use for any application. When specified and detailed correctly, our products can last for hundreds of yearsresulting in some of the lowest embodied energy of any material.
Developing and maintaining a sustainable operation is a Coldspring core value that not only affects how we do business, but also shapes our corporate culture. Stone is a natural resource. However, depending on how it is quarried, processed, transported and used has a significant bearing on the environmental impact for any particular use. Likewise, our foundry and other non-stone operations also benefit from sustainable practices that maximize the utilization of our resources while minimizing energy use. Building on a long-standing commitment to establishing and promoting industry-wide best practices that treat the source of our products (the earth) with respect, Coldspring is dedicated to developing and maintaining resource management and processing practices that minimize our impact on the environment.
Coldspring strives to be the world's most environmentally responsible stone producer.
