Overview:
DALTILE began operations in 1947 in Dallas, Texas as Dallas Ceramic Tile Company. With easy access to the rest of the nation, the company experienced tremendous growth and, in 1955, opened its first Sales Centers in Tampa, Florida and Monterey, Mexico. Today, the company is, indeed, known as the leader in the industry under the name of DALTILE. There are now over 220 Sales Centers in the U.S. and Canada and major distribution hubs for imports on Los Angeles and Dallas. DALTILE is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Mohawk Industries, Inc. the largest floor covering manufacturer in the world.
