Overview:
Dietrich Metal Framing is North America's largest manufacturer of metal framing and finish products. The company began its first operation in 1959 with one location and currently operates more than 40 facilities strategically located throughout North America.
They offer one of the industries most extensive product lines consisting of drywall, curtainwall and structural (axial load-bearing) metal framing materials used primarily in schools, shopping centers, motels, assisted living facilities, low-rises, mid-rises, dormitories, multifamily housing, and most commercial, institutional, and industrial structures. They offer a full line of accessory products including furring channel, resilient channel, slip and deflection tracks, slotted tracks, lath, expanded beads and trims, veneer plaster products, corner bead and metal trims.
Dietrich also provides the TradeReadyŽ family of metal framing products including the floor system, one-piece header, wall stud, and spazzer bridging and spacing bar products. In addition, the company also provides 2 hour fire-rated assemblies for shaftwall, stairwell, and area separation wall systems. They are the only company in the industry to have testing and approval with all major gypsum board manufacturers. Prefabricated light gage metal trusses are also available through AEGIS Metal Framing, a Dietrich/Mitek joint venture.
Dietrich's design services company, Dietrich Design Group (DDG) is the largest dedicated light gage design services company in the United States. DDG provides member sizing, calculations, preliminary designs, and full-scale sealed shop drawings. DDG is licensed in North America.
