COMPANY OVERVIEW

In 1969, Dryvit Systems, Inc. introduced North America to an exterior wall cladding system based on a revolutionary concept: installing insulation as part of the outside wall. Since that time, Dryvit's innovative systems have been used successfully on hundreds of thousands of commercial and residential buildings. Today, the West Warwick, Rhode Island based company remains North America's leading EIFS manufacturer with an ever-growing line of diversified products.

Whether you're building a new structure or renovating an older one, a Dryvit system is cost effective to install and thermally efficient. In fact, it's the most thermally efficient wall system available today.

Dryvit, which is owned by RPM International Inc. in Medina, OH operates four manufacturing plants in the U.S., including one at its headquarters in West Warwick, RI., and has subsidiary operations in Canada, Poland and China.

Continuous Insulation image

Continuous Insulation - Outsulation® PE

The Outsulation PE system incorporates the concept of pressure equalization by introducing an interlocking cavity in back of the cladding to pressurize during a wind-driven rain event. This eliminates any pressure differential that would draw water into the cavity from a breach in the outside surface. By removing the driving force, the water simply flows down the outside wall surface. The inclusion of an air- and water-resistive barrier assembly will also stop air infiltration through the wall assembly, improving interior comfort as well as thermal performance.

Textured Finishes - StucCoat™

StucCoat is a high quality, integrally colored, acrylic copolymer finish, specifically designed to provide texture and color over Portland cement plaster, cast-in-place, pre-cast and concrete masonry units. It is not intended for use with an Outsulation system.

StucCoat is available in four textures: Standard: Can be troweled and floated to a rilled texture defined by the rolling of the larger aggregate. Fine: Can be troweled or sprayed followed by floating to obtain uniform sand-type texture. Bold: Can be troweled or sprayed followed by floating to obtain a larger, uniform aggregate texture without rills. Lace: Is developed by trowel application of a uniform, smooth application over the substrate, followed by random-area trowel applications of material with or without trowel knockdown/stipple effects. This texture is not floated and produces effects similar to traditional stucco textures.
