SuperNeutral® Series
|
The newest entry in Guardian’s SuperNeutral® Series has our highest light-to-solar-gain ratio (LSG) ever. SNX 62/27 delivers 62% visible light transmission and a low 0.27 solar heat gain coefficient, for an impressive LSG ratio of 2.30.
This performance means SNX 62/27 lets in lots of natural light but still blocks solar heat, saving on energy costs and helping projects qualify for LEED credits. SNX 62/27 is available on five float-glass substrates (Clear, UltraWhite™ low-iron, CrystalGray®, Green and TwilightGreen™
.

SunGuard IS 20
|
An interior-surface coating for significant energy savings.
SunGuard IS 20 is designed to be used on the #4 surface of a double-glazed unit, or on the #6 surface of a triple-glazed unit. As documented in the performance chart below, SunGuard IS 20 delivers lower u-values, less solar heat gain, and significant energy savings when combined with other low-E SunGuard coatings in IG units.
Smoother and clearer than pyrolytics.
SunGuard IS 20 holds several distinct advantages over pyrolytic hard coats as well. Unlike pyrolytics, which have a rough surface, SunGuard IS 20 is smooth to the touch and easy to clean. What’s more, SunGuard IS 20 lacks the visible haze of hard coats, delivering a high visible light transmission.

Types and Applications for SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass

|
SunGuard Advanced Architectural Glass can be used in many different applications to keep energy costs down, let in more light and provide added security – while still creating a striking design.
Insulating Glass
Two or more lites of glass are sealed with an air space between them to form insulating glass. Insulating glass significantly improves glass performance and provides more appearance options as well.
Laminated or "Safety" Glass
Two or more lites, heat and pressure-bonded with plastic interlayers, form laminated glass. Find out how it can answer your storm or security concerns.
Heat-Strengthened Glass
With a surface compression at least double that of raw glass, (between 3,500 and 7,000 PSI), see how heat-strengthened glass provides additional strength against wind load and thermal stress.
Tempered Glass or "Safety Glass"
Even stronger than heat-strengthened glass, its surface compression is four times that of raw glass, (10,000 PSI or higher). Find out where tempered glass is required.
Spandrel Glass
Spandrels are opaque glass panels designed to conceal building components and match or contrast with vision glass.
Silk-Screened Glass
