Overview:
In 1960, Horton Automatics designed and built the world's first commercial automatic sliding door and has since become a leading manufacturer of automatic entrance products having the most extensive research and development program in the industry. Products include swinging, sliding, revolving, telescoping, sensors and operators, bifolding and industrial doors along with automatic pass-thru serving windows.
Horton Automatics entrance products are built to meet national building code egress requirements, ANSI Standards for pedestrian doors and to help businesses comply with the barrier-free entrance aspect for the Americans With Disabilities Act of 1990.
Horton Automatics is a member of the American Association of Automatic Door Manufacturers (AAADM) which has established a certification program for companies in the automatic door industry. The program is intended to enhance the safety of automatic doors.
