Our Tile and Stone Installation Systems are the most technologically advanced and highest performing in the Industry. MAPEI offers a variety of mortars, mastics, and grouts, as well as finishing care products that add a crowning touch to any job.
Planicrete AC is a one-component, concentrated liquid latex admixture used to enhance the performance of cementitious repair mortars, plasters, stuccos, concrete mixes and toppings for the restoration of horizontal, vertical and overhead concrete; concrete masonry units (CMU); and masonry surfaces.
ECO Prim Grip is a ready-to-use, low-VOC, synthetic resin-based primer with bond-promoting silica aggregates suspended in a dispersion. It enhances the performance and adhesion of mortars to existing ceramics and difficult-to-bond substrates, plus it improves bonding of self-leveling underlayments (SLUs) and bonds of render coats over cementitious substrates. Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, ECO Prim Grip combines excellent versatility with an easy, low-odor application.
2-1/2 to 1 is a grouting compound for interior or exterior floors of terra-cotta tile, such as Brazilian and Spanish tile, where grout joints range from 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm).
Keracolor S is a premium-grade, preblended, polymer-modified sanded Portland-cement tile grout that requires only the addition of water for mixing. It will grout joints from 1/8" to 5/8" (3 to 16 mm).
Keracolor U is a premium-grade, preblended, polymer-modified unsanded Portland-cement tile grout that requires only the addition of water for mixing. It will grout joints from 1/16" to 1/8" (1,5 to 3 mm).
Ultracolor Plus with DropEffect™ technology is an ultra premium, fast-setting, polymer-modified, color-consistent, nonshrinking, efflorescence-free grout for joint widths from 1/16" to 1" (1,5 mm to 2,5 cm). DropEffect technology reduces surface absorption to help repel water, dirt and grime from penetrating grout joints. Ultracolor Plus is specially formulated with MAPEI’s High-Hydrated Cement Technology (HCT™) to eliminate the common problems related to Portland-cement grout, such as color consistency and efflorescence.
Mapesonic 2 is a patent-pending, next-generation, flexible thin, 76-mil (1,93-mm) lightweight, load-bearing, fabric-reinforced “peel-and-stick” sound-reduction and crack-isolation membrane. After application, ceramic tile or stone can be installed immediately with recommended MAPEI polymer-modified cement-based mortar, or glue-down wood flooring can be immediately installed with any MAPEI urethane or hybrid-polymer-based wood adhesive. Mapesonic 2 reduces transmission of impact sound (footsteps, dropped objects, etc.) and airborne sound (voice, TV, etc.) through floors when installed under ceramic tile, stone or wood floor coverings. It also helps to prevent existing or future in-plane floor cracks (with movement up to 3/8" [10 mm] wide) from transmitting through grout, ceramic tile or natural-stone assemblies.
Mapeguard 2 is a next-generation, flexible thin, 40-mil lightweight, load-bearing, fabric-reinforced “peel-and-stick” crack-isolation membrane. After application, ceramic tile or stone can be installed immediately with any polymer-modified cement-based mortar. Glue-down wood flooring can also be installed with any MAPEI urethane adhesive.
MAPEI SM Primer is a ready-to-use, fast-drying, water-based, latex primer for use under MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes on residential and commercial indoor or outdoor floors. MAPEI SM Primer greatly increases the bond of MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes to concrete, plywood and other approved, properly prepared floors. It can be applied with a roller or brush, is white in color and dries clear.
Mapelastic CI is a premixed, liquid-rubber, quick-drying crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential and commercial interior and exterior environments. Mapelastic CI meets ANSI A118.12 requirements, provides up to 1/8" (3 mm) of in-plane crack isolation, and dries after about 30 to 50 minutes. It is then ready to receive most MAPEI polymer-modified or epoxy mortars.
Keralastic is a premium-grade, high-performance, second-generation “flexible” acrylic latex additive used in the Kerabond/Keralastic™ System. This highly recommended additive enhances bond strength, flexural strength, elongation and freeze/thaw durability. To ensure proper flexibility, always use a latex additive when using a dry-set mortar for applications over plywood and for setting nonvitreous, semivitreous, vitreous and impervious tiles.
Keraply™ is a professional-grade, acrylic latex admixture used to enhance the performance of Keraset , Adesilex™ P10 and Keraflor™ dry-set mortars. This highly recommended admixture enhances bond strength, flexural strength, elongation and freeze/thaw durability. To ensure proper flexibility, always use a latex additive when using a dry-set mortar for applications over plywood and for setting nonvitreous tiles.
MAPEI’s Polymer Additive is an acrylic latex admixture used to enhance the performance of dry-set mortars as well as Mosaic & Glass Tile Mortar. This highly recommended admixture enhances bond strength, flexural strength, elongation and freeze/thaw durability.
Floor & Wall Tile Mortar is a regular-setting, dry-set (non-polymer-enriched or “unmodified”) mortar for installing tile on floors and walls in thin-set applications.
Kerabond is a premium-grade dry-set mortar for use in most interior, exterior, residential and light commercial floor and wall applications. This premium dry-set mortar is part of the Kerabond/Keralastic™ high-performance mortar system.
Kerapoxy IEG is a water-cleanable 100%-solids epoxy grout, with high chemical and stain resistance. It is a nonshrinking, nonsagging, fast-curing, efflorescence-free grout system. It is ideal for installations where high-strength, mold- and mildew- resistant grout joints are required. Kerapoxy IEG has high temperature resistance and can be steam-cleaned. It is formulated for use in cooler temperatures.
Kerapoxy is a premium-grade, water-cleanable, 100%-solids, high-strength epoxy mortar and chemical-resistant nonsagging grout. Available in all MAPEI colors for grouting, Kerapoxy is excellent for countertops, high-traffic areas, and areas needing stain and chemical resistance.
Kerapoxy CQ is an improved two-component, 100%-solids epoxy grout and mortar. Nonsagging/nonslumping in joints up to 3/8" (10 mm), water-cleanable and easy to apply, Kerapoxy CQ uses a proprietary aggregate to achieve its durable color, making it excellent for countertops, high-traffic areas, and areas needing stain and chemical resistance. Easy to maintain, Kerapoxy CQ will clean to the original color and contains BioBlock™ technology to help protect against mold and mildew. Kerapoxy CQ is efflorescence-free and has excellent resistance to chemicals, staining, alkalinity, chlorine, bacteria, cracking and color deterioration. Because Kerapoxy CQ is impervious, this ensures that spills stay at the surface level for easier maintenance.
Opticolor is an improved, water-cleanable, reaction resin grout with chemical and stain resistance. It is a nonsagging, efflorescence-free grout with no shrinkage. Opticolor provides color uniformity, stain resistance and durability beyond that of cement grouts. In addition, it is easy to maintain, will clean to the original color and contains BioBlock™ technology.
Granirapid is the next generation of high-performance, flexible mortar systems. As the industry’s first and only fast-curing system geared for fast-track projects, it develops high, early mechanical strength and can be specified for the same demanding applications as Keralastic™. However, Granirapid will cure considerable faster because of its superior drying-out characteristics, which produce low residual moisture behind the tile after 24 hours, and does not contribute to efflorescence. When installed in conjunction with Ultracolor® Plus grout, Granirapid will allow water submersion in a revolutionary 72 hours.
Kerabond/Keralastic System is a high-performance, two-part system: Keralastic ™, a second-generation “flexible” acrylic latex additive, is used to enhance the performance of Kerabond ™, which is a premium-grade dry-set mortar. This system has exceptional bond strength, flexural strength, elongation and freeze/thaw durability. To ensure proper flexibility, always use a latex additive when applying a dry-set mortar over plywood or to set nonvitreous tiles.
Large Floor Tile Mortar is a regular-setting, polymer-enriched (“modified”) mortar ideal for installing large-format tile on floors. This medium-bed mortar is designed to bond and support large tile over a diverse range of floor substrates.
Ultracontact is an ultra premium, normal-setting, polymer-modified, high-performance full-contact mortar. Ultracontact meets or exceeds ANSI A118.4 and ANSI A118.11 requirements when mixed with water.
Keracrete is a specially formulated latex additive for use in job-site-prepared setting beds (1 part sand to 1 part cement), resulting in a highly water- and frost-resistant mortar. Keracrete can be used in interior and exterior applications over structurally sound concrete, masonry block, gypsum wallboard and cement board to set marble, granite, pavers, quarry tiles, and vitreous and nonvitreous ceramic tiles.
Ultralite Mortar is a premium-grade, lightweight, single-component thin-set mortar that can also be used for medium-bed and non-sag applications. This high-performance, polymer-modified mortar is formulated with Easy Glide Technology™ for ease of application, and with BioBlock™ technology for mold and mildew resistance. Ultralite Mortar ’s unique Ultralite Technology™ provides twice the coverage of a standard thin-set mortar and contributes to LEED points with over 20% recycled content.routs.
Type 1 is a professional-grade, traditional, nonflammable, organic adhesive for setting impervious, vitreous, semivitreous and nonvitreous tile over gypsum drywall (walls only), cement board, exterior-grade plywood, concrete and masonry block. This adhesive is used for interior applications only. Type 1 meets or exceeds ANSI A136.1, Type 1 requirements.
Grout Maximizer is a premium latex-based additive for mixing with Keracolor™ S Portland-cement-based grout to increase resistance to water and oil-based stains.
Keracaulk U is a premium-grade, easy-to-use, easy-to-clean siliconized acrylic caulk formulated to match the color and texture of MAPEI unsanded grouts.
Mapesil is a specially formulated, one-component, 100%-silicone sealant for use on multiple substrates. Its neutral cure, low odor and excellent weatherability make it ideal for interior and exterior applications on ceramic tile and stone
Planiseal Easy is a proprietary MAPEI acrylic polymer specifically designed to treat concrete slabs (at least 14 days old) that exhibit moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 8 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (3,63 kg per 92,9 m 2 ) per 24 hours (ASTM F1869) or up to 90% relative humidity (ASTM F 2170) and reduces transmission rates to 3 lbs. (1,36 kg) or less. Tinted green, Planiseal Easy is easy to apply with a 1/4" (6 mm) nap roller. This FastTrack Ready™ product dries quickly, allowing for floor-covering installations within 2 to 3 hours.
Planiseal EMB is a high-performance, 100%-solids, two-part, epoxy, one-coat moisture barrier system for concrete slabs that exhibit moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (11,3 kg per 92,9 m2) per 24 hours and reduces transmission rates to less than 3 lbs. (1,36 kg). Planiseal EMB’s unique formulation penetrates into the concrete substrate while creating a solid film layer on the surface for the ultimate in moisture transmission reduction. Planiseal EMB can also be used at different coverage rates, depending on the level of moisture vapor emission control required.
4 to 1 is a preblended mixture of finely graded sand and Portland cement used for thick-bed mortar installations. 4 to 1 flattens and levels an existing substrate before the installation of tile and stone.
Mapecem is a high-performance, shrinkage-compensated binder that is added to select aggregates with water to create a fast-curing, high-strength interior repair mortar and topping. Aggregate must be added to this product before placement. See the Mapecem Technical Data Sheet for aggregate mixing ratios and application thickness.
Mapecem ® Premix is a fast-setting, premixed cement-based mortar for concrete repairs and subfloor preparation work. Mixed exclusively with water, Mapecem Premix provides an easy-to-use, high-compressive-strength, fast-setting mortar that sets completely within 24 hours without shrinkage cracks. When properly used, Mapecem Premix will allow installation of ceramic tile and natural-stone flooring after only 3 to 4 hours and installation of floor covering (such as vinyl, wood, rubber, linoleum and carpet) after 16 to 18 hours.
Mapelath is a lightweight, noncorroding and alkali-resistant lath used to replace wire lath and traditional underlayments that are heavier, thicker and more labor-intensive to install. Mapelath minimizes the overall finished height of the floor.
Topcem Premix is a ready-to-use mortar requiring only the addition of water. Topcem Premix is suitable in both bonded and unbonded, interior and exterior applications. Topcem Premix has an accelerated cure, allowing for installation of ceramic flooring in 24 hours after placement, and nonbreathable flooring systems in 48 hours. Topcem Premix can easily be screeded or sloped, and has the workability and working time of conventional mortars with a much faster curing time. It is ideal for filling trenches, re-sloping balconies, or forming screeds that may or may not receive subsequent flooring installations.
Mapecem Quickpatch is a versatile, fast-setting, cementitious material used for the patching of interior/exterior concrete surfaces including concrete floors, driveways, sidewalks and concrete pads. Mapecem Quickpatch features extraordinary ease of placement, with a variable water ratio and outstanding workability. Light gray Mapecem Quickpatch can be applied from featheredge to 3” (7,5 cm) for ramping or filling. That makes it ideal for restoring weathered, damaged concrete surfaces to a uniform, superior wearing and better-than-new appearance. When used for horizontal substrate repair before application of self-leveling underlayments, Mapecem Quickpatch sets fast for easy and cost-efficient repairs, minimizing job-site turnaround time.
Planipatch is an ultra fast-drying, self-curing, polymer-modified, cement-based patching compound that rapidly develops high compressive strength. Use for smoothing, patching and filling cracks, holes, voids and depressions in concrete and approved wood underlayments prior to the installation of floor coverings. Floor coverings can be installed just 1 hour after application. Mix with Planipatch Plus™ to use as an embossing leveler or patch over properly prepared vinyl sheet goods, vinyl composition tile (VCT), cement terrazzo and residual cutback adhesive surfaces.
Planiprep FF is a feathered-finish, highly engineered, polymer-modified, fiber-reinforced cement-based skimcoating and patching compound. Use Planiprep FF to patch or skimcoat minor surface defects on virtually any substrate, creating a strong, durable, high-compression-strength surface ready for almost any floor application.
Adesilex P10 is a premium-grade, bright white, multipurpose thin-set mortar formulated with nonsag properties. Adesilex P10 is designed for glass tile, glass mosaic and marble mosaic, and is ideal for light translucent natural stone.

Ker 111 is a single-component, thin-set mortar for interior and exterior installations of dimensional stone, ceramic, porcelain and quarry tile. This mortar is formulated with a unique dry polymer, resulting in good adhesion to substrates and tile.
Ker ™ 121 is a professional-grade, single-component, high-performance mortar for ceramic, marble, granite and porcelain stoneware installation over most traditional and specialty substrates. Ker 121 can be used for most interior and exterior residential floor and wall tile applications. In commercial applications, use on interior floor and wall installations and exterior floors. For exterior commercial wall applications, we recommend using either the Kerabond/Keralastic™ or Granirapid® system.
Large Tile & Stone Mortar is a premium, regular-setting, polymer-enriched (“modified”) medium-bed mortar ideal for installing large-format tile and stone on floors, walls and countertops. This mortar can also be used in thin-set applications to install smaller-format tile over a diverse range of substrates.
Mosaic & Glass Tile Mortar is regular-setting, polymer-enriched (“modified”), bright white, multipurpose mortar designed for installing sheet-mounted mosaic glass or stone tiles or individual tiles in thin-set applications.

Ultraflex Wall Mortar is a standard-grade, single-component, polymer-modified thin-set mortar for interior wall installations of tile. This mortar has a unique combination of dry polymers, giving excellent nonslip and adhesion properties.
Ultraflor is a medium-bed, polymer-modified mortar for interior and exterior setting of large-format tile, including heavy-ribbed-back tile, brick pavers, dimensional tile and natural-stone tile. Ultraflor is designed for use at 3/8" to 3/4" (10 to 19 mm) thickness to give better support under large-format tile.
Premixed Premium Grout is a ready-to-use stain-resistant grout for ceramic, porcelain and natural-stone tile in residential light-duty interior installations, such as walls, floors, countertops and showers. This product is available in a dark base and a light br custom tintable colors.
Adhesive & Grout can be used to both set and grout ceramic tile. It is a no-mess alternative to traditional thin-set mortars and grouts that require water and mixing. Available as sanded and unsanded, Adhesive & Grout is nonflammable, comes ready-mixed and has excellent sag-resistant properties.
Natural-Stone & Marble Adhesive is a high-performance, nonflammable, acrylic latex adhesive for interior installations of marble, natural-stone, ceramic, and porcelain floor and wall tile. Its fast-grabbing, nonslip formula simplifies vertical installation of tiles.

Primer CE is an ultra low-viscosity, two-component, 100%-solids surface-consolidating epoxy primer. Primer CE effectively penetrates and consolidates the surface of weak concrete or gypsum substrates. Applied in a single-coat application, Primer CE is designed to restore structural integrity to friable substrates such as weak gypsum-based underlayments or lightweight concretes before the application of underlayments, toppings or floor finishes. Once installed, Primer CE is compatible with a wide number of primers and adhesives typically used with flooring installations, such as with tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT), carpet, sheet vinyl, wood and other floor finishing products.
Primer E is a two-component, 100%-solids epoxy primer and bonding agent designed for use with MAPEI self-leveling underlayments and toppings. Primer E is the most effective method for bonding to nonporous, dense substrates before installing self-leveling underlayments or toppings subject to high stress. Primer E is highly recommended for all installations of decorative toppings (such as Ultratop ® ), which demand the highest degree of crack resistance and surface finish. Primer E low viscosity makes installation fast and easy, and provides excellent penetration into the substrate and therefore tenacious bond.
Primer L is a concentrated, solvent-free acrylic primer used before the installation of underlayments and topping materials. It is green for easy identification. Primer L improves the bond between a properly prepared and profiled concrete substrate, and self-leveling underlayment or topping materials.
Primer T is a low-VOC, water-based acrylic primer that enhances the performance and adhesion of self-leveling underlayments (SLUs) on nonabsorbent surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and adhesive residue, as well as profiled, absorbent surfaces. Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, Primer T combines excellent versatility with an easy, low-odor application.
Novoplan Easy is a high-strength, self-leveling cement-based underlayment and repair mix for interior concrete and engineer-approved floors. It typically requires only a clean, soundly bonded substrate before application. Novoplan Easy provides low installation costs and fast turnaround on job sites.
Planitex SL is a high-performance gypsum-based self-leveler. It is a low-VOC floor-smoothing compound for patching, skimming, smoothing and leveling in dry interior residential or commercial areas. Planitex SL is suitable under normal loading in interiors from featheredge to 1-1/4" (3,2 cm). Planitex SL provides a suitable substrate for floor coverings such as rubber, sheet vinyl and vinyl composition tile (VCT). Planitex SL can be used to cover radiant or in-floor heating systems, and features exceptional compressive and flexural strengths so that it can support light wheeled traffic.
Self-Leveler is a high-strength, regular-setting, cement-based, self-leveling underlayment and repair mix for use over interior concrete, plywood or other approved floor surfaces. Self-Leveler is convenient and easy to use. Once cured, it provides a smooth, level surface on which to install a variety of floor coverings.
Ultraplan Easy is an HCT™ (High-Hydrated Cement Technology)-based, quick-setting, self-leveling underlayment that typically requires only a clean, soundly bonded substrate before application. Typically requiring reduced surface preparation, Ultraplan Easy provides lower installation costs and fast turnaround on job sites. It features high strength and is able to withstand light foot traffic after 2 to 3 hours of installation.
Ultraplan 1 Plus is an HCT™ (High-Hydrated Cement Technology)-based, quick-setting, self-leveling, self-drying underlayment and repair mix for interior concrete and engineer-approved floors. Ultraplan 1 Plus has high strength and is abrasion-resistant, able to withstand light foot traffic after 2 to 3 hours and vehicular rubber-wheel traffic after 3 days.
Glass-Block Mortar is a premixed blend of Portland cement, sand and chemicals specifically designed for glass-block installation. This white mortar can be used for both setting and grouting of the block.
Kerapoxy 410 is a 100%-solids epoxy setting floor and wall mortar that is suited for areas where most chemical-resistant setting material is necessary. Kerapoxy 410 is formulated to be used as a non sag thin-set for wall applications of porcelain and monocottura tile up to 12" x 12" x 3/8" (30 cm x 30 cm x 10 mm) in format. It also has high compressive strength, which provides excellent impact strength in commercial facilities. Kerapoxy 410 is designed for setting most types of tile.
Planicrete W is tremendously flexible and excellent for installing tile over well-supported and properly prepared steel substrates (such as ship decks, elevators, steel staircases and bank vaults). It is designed for setting most types of tile, including moisture-sensitive tile and natural stone such as Rosso Levanto marble, Negro Marquina marble, and green marble and their agglomerates.
MAPEI’s Fiberglass Mesh is a ready-to-use, thin, strong yet flexible alkali-resistant mesh for embedment with waterproofing and crack-isolation membranes, including MAPEI’s Mapelastic, Mapelastic 315, Mapelastic HPG and Mapelastic Smart on residential and commercial floors, walls and ceilings.
Mapeband is a set of rubber-coated, polyester accessories for labor-saving installation of interior and exterior waterproofing. Sold separately, these accessories consist of a cove roll (tape), drain flashing and (available in Canada only) pre-formed inside and outside corners. Mapeband accessories are designed for use with MAPEI’s Mapelastic™, Mapelastic 315 , Mapelastic HPG and Mapelastic Smart waterproofing membranes.
Mapelastic 400 is a flexible, thin, load-bearing, waterproofing membrane system consisting of a premixed, quick-drying liquid latex and a reinforcing fabric, for installation under ceramic tile or stone.
Mapelastic 315 is a trowel-applied, two-component, flexible, fiber-reinforced waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane. Mapelastic 315 meets ANSI A118.10 requirements for waterproofing and is IAPMO-listed as a shower-pan liner.
Mapelastic AquaDefense is a premixed, advanced liquid-rubber, extremely quick-drying waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane for installation under ceramic tile or stone in residential, commercial and industrial environments. Mapelastic AquaDefense provides a thin, continuous barrier to protect adjacent rooms and floors below from water damage. For common problem areas like coves, corners, cracks and drains, it can be combined with MAPEI’s optional Reinforcing Fabric or Mapeband™ accessories (cove roll and drain flash) to provide additional protection. Mapelastic AquaDefense dries after about 30 to 50 minutes and is then ready to receive any MAPEI polymer or epoxy mortar. Mapelastic AquaDefense can be flood-tested after 12 hours of drying time, is IAPMO-listed for use as a shower-pan liner, and exceeds ANSI A118.10 and ANSI A118.12 standards.
Mapelastic HPG is a next-generation, ready-to-use liquid membrane suited for concrete, masonry, cement board and engineer-approved, exterior-grade plywood. It is designed for both commercial and residential use. It can be applied to interior horizontal and vertical surfaces using a trowel or roller, and is a highly flexible acrylic-based membrane. Mapelastic HPG has excellent compatibility with cement-based bonding materials. It can accommodate minor in-plane substrate movement and also can be used as a crack-isolation membrane (when used with MAPEI’s Fiberglass Me sh ). When used with this mesh, Mapelastic HPG is IAPMO-approved and meets ANSI A118.10 standards for use as a shower-pan liner.
MAPEI’s Reinforcing Fabric is a strong, absorbent polyester reinforcing fabric to use with Mapelastic 400 and for optional use with Mapelastic AquaDefense.
Mapecure SRA is a liquid admixture that reacts chemically to reduce hydraulic shrinkage and the formation of microcracks. Mapecure SRA is compatible with traditional MAPEI concrete restoration materials, such as cementitious grouts and repair mortars.
Planicrete AC is a one-component, concentrated liquid latex admixture used to enhance the performance of cementitious repair mortars, plasters, stuccos, concrete mixes and toppings for the restoration of horizontal, vertical and overhead concrete; concrete masonry units (CMU); and masonry surfaces.
Planicrete UA is a next-generation, water-based, one-component, concentrated liquid latex admixture used to enhance the performance of several MAPEI products, including mortar mixes. Using Planicrete UA as part of the designated design mixes will increase product performance in the areas of bond, flexural and tensile strengths in addition to increased durability and enhanced workability.
Mapefinish Wet Look is a one-part, water-based, transparent, high-gloss sealer designed for protecting and enhancing colors in all concrete surfaces – from highly textured stamped concrete to smooth self-leveling toppings. Planiseal HG is a solvent-free, moisture-tolerant, 100%-solids, clear, high-gloss, two-component epoxy sealer suitable for sealing concrete, and concrete areas treated with skid-resistant Planiseal Traffic Coat.
Planiseal LVB is a two-component, very low-viscosity epoxy sealer designed to deeply penetrate into new or worn sound concrete. Planiseal LVB seals hairline cracks and penetrates the concrete pore structure to form a subsurface barrier that effectively arrests carbonation as well as stopping the penetration of chloride ions into concrete decks. Planiseal LVB significantly improves the durability and service life of concrete decks.
Planiseal™ Traffic Coat is a solvent-free, moisture-tolerant, 100%-solids, low-modulus, two-part epoxy bonding agent and binder engineered for providing a waterproof and skid-resistant overlay on such surfaces as bridges, elevated slabs, parking garages and balconies. Planiseal™ Traffic Coat arrests carbonation and stops the penetration of chloride ions into concrete decks, while providing a skid-resistant, durable and attractive finish.
Planitop 12 is a one-component, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious, thixotropic mortar intended for the renovation of vertical and overhead concrete surfaces. Planitop 12 is fiber-reinforced and contains silica fume as well as a corrosion inhibitor.
Planitop 15 is a one-component, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious, fiber-reinforced, fluid mortar. Planitop 15 contains a corrosion inhibitor and silica fume, and is well-suited for form-and-pour applications where high early strength and flowability are required.
Planitop 18 is a one-component, high-early-strength, fast-setting, cementitious repair mortar with corrosion inhibitor. It is suited for all interior/exterior horizontal concrete repairs, including bridge-deck overlays, parking-garage floor repairs, ramps and various horizontal DOT (Department of Transportation) concrete repairs.
Planitop 23 is a pre-proportioned, two-component, fast-setting, polymer-modified, thixotropic, cementitious fiber-reinforced mortar, with a corrosion inhibitor. Planitop 23 is intended for vertical and overhead repairs, and contains silica fume to provide a durable, high-strength concrete in these applications.
Planitop 25 is a two-component, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious, flowable resurfacing mortar with corrosion inhibitor. Once mixed, the mortar is easily placed onto horizontal surfaces in thicknesses of 1/4" up to 1" (6 mm to 2,5 cm) per coat. Planitop 25 contains a high concentration of synthetic polymer, which produces a dense, durable resurfacing mortar with outstanding adhesion, flexural and compressive strengths. Planitop 25 has very low permeability, offering high resistance to freeze/thaw cycles and chloride ion penetration. Formulated for demanding commercial and industrial repairs involving heavy impact and high abrasion, such as loading docks, parking garages, warehouse floors, and areas subject to extreme traffic and dynamic loads.
Planitop X is a one-component, fiber-reinforced, shrinkage-compensated, high-earlystrength, fast-setting, polymer-modified, high-build cementitious repair mortar with a corrosion inhibitor. It is suited for all interior/exterior vertical and overhead concrete repairs, including precast/prestressed, tilt-up, post-tensioned and cast-in-place concrete. Planitop X can be applied from featheredge to 4" (10 cm) per lift. Planitop X is engineered to provide high early strength with ease of application. Planitop X dries to a light gray color, matching most concrete surfaces.
Planitop XS is an extended-working-time variation of Planitop X. Shrinkage compensated,fiber-reinforced, polymer-modified and containing a proprietary corrosion inhibitor, Planitop XS features Planitop X’s outstanding workability and versatility. Ideal for a wide variety of vertical, overhead and horizontal concrete repairs, Planitop XS can be applied from featheredge to 4" (10 cm) per lift. Planitop XS dries to a light gray color, blending well with most concrete surfaces.
Planitop FD is a one-part, shrinkage-compensated, cementitious, self-compacting flowable mortar for a variety of structural repairs. Planitop FD contains a corrosion inhibitor and is suited for form-and-pour applications as well as flatwork repairs at depths from 1/2" to 4" (12 mm to 10 cm) neat. Planitop FD is pumpable and ideal for deep repairs that require ease of placement and a rapid return to service.
Planigrout 712 is a one-component, nonshrink, nonmetallic, cement-based DOT (Department of Transportation) grout that meets CRD C621 and ASTM C1107 standards. Planigrout 712 contains a corrosion inhibitor and silica fume, as well as a special blend of aggregate and plasticizers that provide exceptional placing and performance characteristics.
Planigrout 755 is a one-component, nonshrinking, cementitious construction grout consisting of selected fine aggregates and special additives. Planigrout 755 requires only the addition of water to produce consistencies varying from dry pack to flowable. It produces excellent compressive and flexural strengths within a few days.
Planigrout 830 SP is a three-part, 100%-solids, high-performance precision machine grout for the support of heavy equipment. Planigrout 830 SP utilizes an engineered blend of graded aggregate combined with epoxy resins that produces a grout with exceptional flow and void-filling capability. Planigrout 830 SP is chemically resistant and features an exceptionally homogenous distribution of aggregate. This makes it ideal for grouting base plates exposed to the dynamic loading and continuous vibration produced by heavy industrial equipment.
Planigrout 740 is a high-strength, nonshrink, precision, cementitious tremie grout composed of select fine aggregates, special additives and silica fume. Planigrout 740 requires only the addition of water to produce a very flowable consistency, without separation, allowing the grouting in hard-to-reach spaces. Planigrout 740 ’s high-strength and high-performance characteristics also make it suitable for grouting of columns and precision machine baseplates. Containing anti-washout agents and having a high resistance to chloride attack, Planigrout 740 is a superior product for underwater repairs and grouting areas subject to saltwater exposure.
Mapeshield I is a pure zinc anode for cathodic protection of reinforcing steel against corrosion in new, reinforced structures as well as structures requiring repair. Composed with a zinc core, Mapeshield I has its surface area covered by a special conductive paste; once connected to steel reinforcement rods, the paste stops corrosion, impedes its formation and keeps the system active for many years. When Mapeshield I is attached to the reinforcement rods, the two dissimilar metals (zinc and steel) are connected together in a suitable electrolyte (the concrete). The metal with the most negative potential (zinc) will corrode, and the metal with the least negative potential (steel) remains protected against corrosion. The current generated by the installation of Mapeshield I starts to push the pH level higher, making the concrete more alkaline, and begins pushing chloride ions away.
Mapefer 1K is a one-part anticorrosion and bonding mortar based on unique polymers, cementitious binders and proprietary corrosion inhibitors. Mapefer 1K is designed for application on clean reinforcing steel to inhibit oxidation and rust formation.
Planibond 3C is a three-component, solvent-free, moisture-tolerant, epoxy-modified, cementitious product specially formulated for corrosion protection and as a bonding agent. It can be applied using a brush, short-nap roller, push broom or hopper spray equipment. Use Planibond 3C on all prepared exposed reinforcing steel and as a bonding agent before the placement of repair products.
When combined, Keracolor U and Planicrete UA provide a premium, fast-setting, polymer-modified, color-consistent, nonshrinking, exceptionally fine micro-topping for applications up to 1/16" (1,5 mm) in thickness per coat. Planitop Basecoat is a high-performance, polymer-modified, Portland-cementbased pre-blended mortar for non-structural applications. Use Planitop Basecoat before the application of a finish coat of acrylic or cement-based stucco or waterproof paint.
Concrete Renew is a one-component, polymer-modified cementitious material for the resurfacing of existing concrete. It is suitable for broom finishes and decorative trowel finishes on sidewalks, driveways, steps and anywhere that has exposed concrete. Concrete Renew features a natural light gray color that provides a uniform, like-new look to concrete surfaces.
Concrete Renew Fine is a one-component, polymer-modified cementitious material for the resurfacing of existing concrete. It allows a variety of finishing options, including broom finishes and decorative trowel finishes, on sidewalks, driveways, steps and anywhere that has exposed concrete. Concrete Renew Fine features a natural light gray color that provides a uniform finish to concrete surfaces.
Carboplate E 170 is a range of pultruded carbon fiber plates, with high resistance and flexibility, for plating pre-stressed reinforced concrete and steel structures.
Maperod C is a range of pultruded carbon fiber rods, with high tensile strength and a modulus of elasticity of 22.5 x 10⁶ psi (155,000 N/mm²). After the plastic film is removed, the Maperod C “near surface-mounted” rods are used for structural repairs and strengthening of structural elements in reinforced concrete, brickwork, stone or volcanic ash that has been damaged by either physical/mechanical stresses or natural events.
Mapewrap C Bi-Ax is a bi-directional carbon fiber fabric with balanced weight and having a high modulus of elasticity and high tensile strength. Mapewrap C Bi-Ax is suitable for repairing concrete structures and for improving the flexural and shear strength of reinforced concrete elements. It is also used for the confinement of axial- loaded elements (columns, bridge piers, chimneys) subjected to compressive and bending stress, and for seismic strengthening in earthquake areas.
MapeWrap 11 is a two-component, epoxy resin-based product with selected fine-graded aggregates and special additives developed in MAPEI’s research laboratories. MapeWrap 11 is used to level concrete or reinforced concrete surfaces that need to be repaired or reinforced by bonding the MapeWrap fabrics, Carboplate carbon plates, and Maperod carbon rods, and as a structural adhesive for the Carboplate and Maperod systems.
MapeWrap 12 is a two-component, epoxy resin for leveling concrete or reinforced concrete surfaces and as a structural adhesive for the Carboplate and Maperod systems. MapeWrap 12 is recommended in hot climates (applications at temperatures > 73ºF [23ºC]), or when leveling large surface areas.
MapeWrap 21 is a two-component, super fluid, solvent-free epoxy resin product, formulated for the saturation of MapeWrap fabrics, immediately before placing the fabric. The saturation is accomplished by dipping the fabric into a trough or other impregnation equipment.
MapeWrap 31 is a two-component, solvent-free epoxy resin product, formulated for the saturation of MapeWrap fabrics during application, using the “dry-layup” system.
MapeWrap C Uni-Ax is a mono-directional carbon fiber fabric, having a high modulus of elasticity of 33.4 x 10⁶ psi (230,000 N/mm²) and high tensile strength. It is also available with an extremely high modulus of elasticity of 56.6 x 10⁶ psi (390,000 N/mm²) and additional widths on special order.
MapeWrap G Uni-Ax is a uni-directional glass fiber fabric suitable for repairing reinforced concrete, wooden and masonry elements damaged by physical-mechanical action, for the reinforcement of load bearing elements in buildings that have been restructured for architectural reasons or change of use, and for seismic strengthening of structures in earthquake-risk areas. MapeWrap G Uni-Ax can be placed using two different methods: the “wet system” with the aid of a machine that helps the impregnation process and the “dry system” where the resin is hand-applied during installation.
MapeWrap Primer 1 is a two-component, super-fluid , solvent-free epoxy resin , formulated for the consolidation and priming of concrete, reinforced concrete, or masonry surfaces before bonding MapeWrap fabrics, Carboplate™ plates, or Maperod™ rods.
Planiseal EMB is a high-performance, 100%-solids, two-part, epoxy, one-coat moisture barrier system for concrete slabs that exhibit moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (11,3 kg per 92,9 m2) per 24 hours and reduces transmission rates to less than 3 lbs. (1,36 kg). Planiseal EMB’s unique formulation penetrates into the concrete substrate while creating a solid film layer on the surface for the ultimate in moisture transmission reduction. Planiseal EMB can also be used at different coverage rates, depending on the level of moisture vapor emission control required.
Planiseal VS is an alkali-resistant, two-component, 100%-solids epoxy coating that effectively stops moisture-related problems with floor coverings. In all cases, moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) of up to 25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (11,3 kg per 92,9 m2) per 24 hours are reduced to below the limit of 3 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. Mapecem FineFinish is a high-performance, polymer-modified, fiber-reinforced cement-based skimcoating and patching compound. Use Mapecem FineFinish to skimcoat and smooth minor surface variations or defects on a variety of substrates. Mapecem FineFinish creates a strong, durable surface ready for almost any floor application. Its unique formulation mixes easily at a 50% water-to-powder ratio for a smooth and easy-to-apply patching compound. Rapid-set Mapecem FineFinish allows for fast-track flooring installations 30 to 60 minutes after application.
Tilt Finish is a versatile, fast-setting, polymer-modified material utilizing a proprietary blend of cements and extremely fine aggregate. Tilt Finish is ideal for producing a smooth finish on concrete surfaces including tilt wall, poured-in-place concrete, masonry, pre-cast beams and columns. Tilt Finish features extraordinary ease of placement, with a variable water ratio and outstanding workability. Light gray Tilt Finish can be applied from featheredge, up to 1/2" (12 mm) in confined areas. Ease of placement makes it ideal for covering imperfections in concrete surfaces, providing a uniform and light gray appearance, or a smooth surface before painting or application of coating.
Primer CE is an ultra low-viscosity, two-component, 100%-solids surface-consolidating epoxy primer. Primer CE effectively penetrates and consolidates the surface of weak concrete or gypsum substrates. Applied in a single-coat application, Primer CE is designed to restore structural integrity to friable substrates such as weak gypsum-based underlayments or lightweight concretes before the application of underlayments, toppings or floor finishes. Once installed, Primer CE is compatible with a wide number of primers and adhesives typically used with flooring installations, such as with tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT), carpet, sheet vinyl, wood and other floor finishing products.
Primer E is a two-component, 100%-solids epoxy primer and bonding agent designed for use with MAPEI self-leveling underlayments and toppings. Primer E is the most effective method for bonding to nonporous, dense substrates before installing self-leveling underlayments or toppings subject to high stress. Primer E is highly recommended for all installations of decorative toppings (such as Ultratop ® ), which demand the highest degree of crack resistance and surface finish. Primer E low viscosity makes installation fast and easy, and provides excellent penetration into the substrate and therefore tenacious bond.
Primer L is a concentrated, solvent-free acrylic primer used before the installation of underlayments and topping materials. It is green for easy identification. Primer L improves the bond between a properly prepared and profiled concrete substrate, and self-leveling underlayment or topping materials.
Primer T is a low-VOC, water-based acrylic primer that enhances the performance and adhesion of self-leveling underlayments (SLUs) on nonabsorbent surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and adhesive residue, as well as profiled, absorbent surfaces. Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, Primer T combines excellent versatility with an easy, low-odor application.
Primer WE (formerly Ultraprime WE) is a two-component, polymer-modified, solvent-free water-based epoxy primer for enhanced adhesion to nonporous substrates prior to the application of MAPEI self-leveling materials. When mixed, Primer WE is purple for easy identification. It improves adhesion over smooth, nonabsorbent and difficult-to-bond-to substrates such as properly prepared ceramic tile, cement-based terrazzo, old cutback adhesive residue and approved plywood subfloors.
Planibond AE is a high-strength, two-part, nonsag, epoxy anchoring gel designed for a wide variety of bonding and repair applications. With VOC compliance and low odor, Planibond AE meets ASTM C881 requirements Types I, II, IV and V; and Grade 3, Classes B and C; as well as USDA specifications for food-processing areas. Planibond AE is moisture-tolerant and may be extended with graded sands. Planibond AE adheres to masonry, concrete, steel and other structural materials.
Planibond CR 50 is a two-part, low-viscosity injection resin that deeply penetrates the finest hairline cracks, restoring the structural integrity of concrete. High-strength and moisture-tolerant, Planibond CR 50 meets ASTM C881 requirements Types I, II, IV and V; and Grade 1, Class B and C; as well as USDA specifications for food-processing areas. Planibond CR 50 may be applied by pressure injection or gravity feed, and can also be combined with sand to become an epoxy mortar or grout. Planibond CR 50 features a fluorescent tracer dye, allowing easy analysis of penetration in repair core samples.
Planibond EBA is a two-component, multipurpose high-modulus epoxy bonding agent. Planibond EBA is nonshrink, 100%-solids and moisture-insensitive. Planibond EBA is used primarily as a bonding agent for screeds and repair mortars, with applications for anchoring and crack repair. Planibond EBA meets ASTM C881 requirements.
Mapecem 102 is a one-component, shrinkage-compensated, polymer-modified, fast-setting cementitious mortar with a corrosion inhibitor and silica fume. Mapecem 102 is intended for the renovation and topping of interior/exterior horizontal concrete surfaces, such as tunnels, bridges, overpasses, factory floors, warehouse floors and loading docks; new and existing concrete slabs; and the construction of floating or monolithic toppings where fast drying is required to allow traffic within 4 hours.
Mapecem 202 is a two-component, shrinkage-compensated, polymer-modified, fast-setting cementitious mortar with a corrosion inhibitor. Mapecem 202
contains silica fume and is intended for the repair and topping of interior/exterior horizontal concrete surfaces, where a durable, high-strength and low permeability concrete is required. Mapecem 202 is excellent for heavy-duty industrial applications, including manufacturing and warehouse floors, loading docks and tipping floors for smelting metals, where fast drying is required to allow
pedestrian and rubber wheel traffic within 4 hours.
opcem Premix is a ready-to-use mortar requiring only the addition of water. Topcem Premix is suitable in both bonded and unbonded, interior and exterior applications. Topcem Premix has an accelerated cure, allowing for installation of ceramic flooring in 24 hours after placement, and nonbreathable flooring systems in 48 hours. Topcem Premix can easily be screeded or sloped, and has the workability and working time of conventional mortars with a much faster curing time. It is ideal for filling trenches, re-sloping balconies, or forming screeds that may or may not receive subsequent flooring installations.
Mapeflex P1 is a high-performance, one-part elastomeric polyurethane sealant and adhesive. Mapeflex P1 offers excellent adhesion to most surfaces, superior gunning and tooling, as well as excellent flexibility for moving joints.
Mapeflex P1 SL is a high-performance, one-component , self-leveling, moisture-cured, elastomeric polyurethane sealant. Mapeflex P1 SL offers superior adhesion to most surfaces, durability and excellent flexibility for moving joints.
Planibond JF is a two-part, 100%-solids, moisture-tolerant, semi-rigid epoxy joint filler. Planibond JF meets ASTM C881 and ACI 302 requirements as well as USDA specifications for food-processing areas. Resfoam HB 45 is a low-viscosity, flexible, hydrophobic polyurethane grout used to stop water infiltration in concrete structures. Resfoam HB 45 is a solvent-free, MDI-based polymer system that reacts with water. Use Resfoam HB 45 together with Resfoam HBA 5 accelerator to adjust the reaction profile for a specific application. In a free-rise circumstance, Resfoam HB 45 will expand up to 750% of its liquid volume. Upon application, Resfoam HB 45 reacts to form a closed-cell polyurethane grout that will not shrink, and provides an elastomeric waterproof barrier sealing infiltration points against water intrusion. Resfoam HB 45 is nontoxic and has good chemical resistance. Resfoam HB 45 is also available in a dual-cartridge format (Resfoam HB 45C) with the accelerator already portioned in the Part B cartridge.
Resfoam HL 35 is a single-component, water-activated hydrophilic polyurethane used for sealing cracks or joints in concrete structures that are subject to continuous moisture exposure. Depending on the water-to-resin ratio, Resfoam HL 35 will vary in consistency from a resilient rubber-like foam to a flexible gel. Resfoam HL 35 is capable of absorbing water up to 800% of its own mass and subsequently prevents water from penetrating into a structure. This unique feature allows Resfoam HL 35 to be used for large water-inflow applications, such as manholes or below-grade structures with active water leaks. Once cured, Resfoam HL 35 provides a watertight, elastomeric seal that stops the penetration of water through cracks or voids.

Resfoam SS 75 is a low-viscosity, hydrophobic polyurethane used for soil stabilization in a variety of water-bearing soils. The low viscosity of Resfoam SS 75 provides for effective penetration of the earth, adding structure and stabilization by encapsulating the granules and subsequently forming a rock-like mass. By application, Resfoam SS 75 cures rapidly to a rigid closed cell, effectively stopping water seepage and waterproofing the soil. Ultrabond ECO 3185 has no solvent added and is nonflammable, making it suitable for use in enclosed environments in occupied buildings.
Ultrabond 2185 commercial carpet seam adhesive is a solvent-based formulation specifically designed to prevent edge raveling, and to seal seams of most commercial and outdoor carpets. Ultrabond 2185 is fast-setting and waterproof. It is also compatible with most carpet backings, and is excellent for direct-glue and double-glue applications.
Ultrabond 3085 premium carpet pad adhesive is a solvent-based adhesive for fastening all types of carpet padding permanently in place over concrete subfloors. Ultrabond 3085 tacks up quickly and has excellent bond strength to prevent slippage of carpet pad during stretch-in or subsequent use.
Ultrabond 4085 contact cement is a general-purpose high-strength adhesive designed for brush- or roll-on application. Ultrabond ECO 85 has been designed for the value-conscious carpet installer. Ultrabond ECO 85 provides quick leg development and good bond strength for most carpet backing types and felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring.
Ultrabond ECO 885 has been specifically designed to provide both permanent and releasable bonds for carpet and carpet tile with non-PVC, polyolefin and most “eco-type” backings. Its unique formulation has been developed to provide a very aggressive bond to polyolefin-type carpet backings where traditional adhesives will not work. Ultrabond ECO 885 can be installed into wet for permanent bonding and allowed to dry to its tacky phase for releasable installations. Ultrabond ECO 885 also can be used in fast-track construction practices where the MVER and RH are less than 8 lbs. (3,63 kg) and 90% respectively, and show diminishing results over time.
Ultrabond ECO 810 offers a new formulation for even greater performance. Faster dry times and an enhanced, more aggressive tack make Ultrabond ECO 810 the perfect choice for fast-track vinyl-backed carpet tile installations. Ultrabond ECO 810 can be installed into wet adhesive for permanent bonding or allowed to dry to its tacky phase for releasable installations. Ultrabond 385 outdoor carpet adhesive is a high-strength, waterproof, solvent-based rubber adhesive for the permanent installation of outdoor carpet and artificial turf. It provides a firm bond to concrete, asphalt paving and other clean, sound paving surfaces commonly encountered. It also may be used over exterior plywood decking and pressure-treated lumber. This adhesive is for outdoor use only. DO NOT USE INDOORS! EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE! Ultrabond 385 sets rapidly, even during unfavorable weather conditions, to provide a secure bond in just a few hours. It will not freeze and may be used at temperatures ranging from 40˚F to 100˚F (4˚C to 38˚C).
Planiseal Easy is a proprietary MAPEI acrylic polymer specifically designed to treat concrete slabs (at least 14 days old) that exhibit moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 8 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (3,63 kg per 92,9 m 2 ) per 24 hours (ASTM F1869) or up to 90% relative humidity (ASTM F 2170) and reduces transmission rates to 3 lbs. (1,36 kg) or less. Planiseal EMB is a high-performance, 100%-solids, two-part, epoxy, one-coat moisture barrier system for concrete slabs that exhibit moisture vapor emission rates (MVERs) up to 25 lbs. per 1,000 sq. ft. (11,3 kg per 92,9 m2) per 24 hours and reduces transmission rates to less than 3 lbs. (1,36 kg). Planiseal EMB’s unique formulation penetrates into the concrete substrate while creating a solid film layer on the surface for the ultimate in moisture transmission reduction. Planiseal EMB can also be used at different coverage rates, depending on the level of moisture vapor emission control required.

Planitex UNS is a fast-setting, nonshrinking, polymer-modified, gypsum-based patching compound that is easy to apply. Its high solids, strong leg development and aggressive tack make it perfect to install this stiff flooring material. The performance-driven Ultrabond ECO 390 grabs onto the linoleum backing during installation and locks it to the subfloor, reducing the need for continual rolling to ensure proper contact and bond. Easy to trowel, Ultrabond ECO 390 is low in volatile organic compounds (VOCs), making it suitable for use in occupied buildings such as hospitals and schools.
Ultrabond ECO 560 is a proprietary acrylic polymer-based adhesive with enhanced bonding characteristics specifically for rubber sheet and tile flooring. It can also be used to bond solid vinyl sheet, plank and tile; vinyl composition tile (VCT); and felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring. Ultrabond ECO 560 flashes quickly to its tacky phase and is suitable for use over porous and nonporous substrates. Its unique performance characteristics, non-hazardous components and low volatile organic content make it suitable for use when two-component urethane products cannot be recommended.
Ultrabond ECO 611 is a traditional, latex-modified asphalt emulsion adhesive specifically designed for the value-conscious installer of vinyl composition tile (VCT). Quick dry times, superb tack and easy trowelability make Ultrabond ECO 611 an excellent choice for VCT installations. Use over approved substrates including properly prepared existing cutback adhesive residue and existing VCT. Ultrabond ECO 611 also can be used directly over MAPEI’s Planiseal™ EMB moisture barrier when installing VCT over it, provided that the surface is smooth and flat.

Ultrabond ECO 575 is a premium wall-base adhesive specifically designed to provide superior bond and impact resistance for rubber, vinyl and carpet wall base. Ultrabond G19 is a two-part reactive adhesive specially designed for installation of floor coverings that demand a high-performance adhesive, such as sports flooring. Ultrabond G19 is excellent for high-performance indoor/outdoor installations of all types of floor coverings that demand reliable results in various weather conditions. Mapelath is a lightweight, noncorroding and alkali-resistant lath used to replace wire lath and traditional underlayments that are heavier, thicker and more labor-intensive to install. Mapelath minimizes the overall finished height of the floor.
Novoplan Easy is a high-strength, self-leveling cement-based underlayment and repair mix for interior concrete and engineer-approved floors. It typically requires only a clean, soundly bonded substrate before application. Novoplan Easy provides low installation costs and fast turnaround on job sites.
Planitex SL is a high-performance gypsum-based self-leveler. It is a low-VOC floor-smoothing compound for patching, skimming, smoothing and leveling in dry interior residential or commercial areas. Planitex SL is suitable under normal loading in interiors from featheredge to 1-1/4" (3,2 cm). Planitex SL provides a suitable substrate for floor coverings such as rubber, sheet vinyl and vinyl composition tile (VCT). Planitex SL can be used to cover radiant or in-floor heating systems, and features exceptional compressive and flexural strengths so that it can support light wheeled traffic.
Planitex SL 35 is a gypsum-based, self-leveling underlayment with an exceptionally smooth, hard surface for use in dry interior residential and commercial areas. Planitex SL 35 is designed for application at depths of 1/4" to 3" (6 mm to 7,5 cm) and provides an excellent substrate for floor coverings such as rubber, sheet vinyl and vinyl composition tile (VCT). Planitex SL 35 can be used to cover radiant or in-floor heating systems. Its impressive compressive and flexural strengths allow it to support light wheeled traffic and light commercial activity.
Primer E is a two-component, 100%-solids epoxy primer and bonding agent designed for use with MAPEI self-leveling underlayments and toppings. Primer E is the most effective method for bonding to nonporous, dense substrates before installing self-leveling underlayments or toppings subject to high stress. Primer E is highly recommended for all installations of decorative toppings (such as Ultratop ® ), which demand the highest degree of crack resistance and surface finish. Primer E low viscosity makes installation fast and easy, and provides excellent penetration into the substrate and therefore tenacious bond.
Primer L is a concentrated, solvent-free acrylic primer used before the installation of underlayments and topping materials. It is green for easy identification. Primer L improves the bond between a properly prepared and profiled concrete substrate, and self-leveling underlayment or topping materials.
Primer T is a low-VOC, water-based acrylic primer that enhances the performance and adhesion of self-leveling underlayments (SLUs) on nonabsorbent surfaces such as ceramic tile, vinyl composition tile (VCT) and adhesive residue, as well as profiled, absorbent surfaces. Suitable for a wide variety of substrates, Primer T combines excellent versatility with an easy, low-odor application.
Primer WE (formerly Ultraprime WE) is a two-component, polymer-modified, solvent-free water-based epoxy primer for enhanced adhesion to nonporous substrates prior to the application of MAPEI self-leveling materials. When mixed, Primer WE is purple for easy identification. It improves adhesion over smooth, nonabsorbent and difficult-to-bond-to substrates such as properly prepared ceramic tile, cement-based terrazzo, old cutback adhesive residue and approved plywood subfloors.
Self-Leveler is a high-strength, regular-setting, cement-based, self-leveling underlayment and repair mix for use over interior concrete, plywood or other approved floor surfaces. Self-Leveler is convenient and easy to use. Once cured, it provides a smooth, level surface on which to install a variety of floor coverings.
Ultraplan Easy is an HCT™ (High-Hydrated Cement Technology)-based, quick-setting, self-leveling underlayment that typically requires only a clean, soundly bonded substrate before application. Typically requiring reduced surface preparation, Ultraplan Easy provides lower installation costs and fast turnaround on job sites. It features high strength and is able to withstand light foot traffic after 2 to 3 hours of installation.
Ultraplan 1 Plus is an HCT™ (High-Hydrated Cement Technology)-based, quick-setting, self-leveling, self-drying underlayment and repair mix for interior concrete and engineer-approved floors. Ultraplan 1 Plus has high strength and is abrasion-resistant, able to withstand light foot traffic after 2 to 3 hours and vehicular rubber-wheel traffic after 3 days.
Mapecem ® Premix is a fast-setting, premixed cement-based mortar for concrete repairs and subfloor preparation work. Mixed exclusively with water, Mapecem Premix provides an easy-to-use, high-compressive-strength, fast-setting mortar that sets completely within 24 hours without shrinkage cracks. When properly used, Mapecem Premix will allow installation of ceramic tile and natural-stone flooring after only 3 to 4 hours and installation of floor covering (such as vinyl, wood, rubber, linoleum and carpet) after 16 to 18 hours.
Topcem Premix is a ready-to-use mortar requiring only the addition of water. Topcem Premix is suitable in both bonded and unbonded, interior and exterior applications. Topcem Premix has an accelerated cure, allowing for installation of ceramic flooring in 24 hours after placement, and nonbreathable flooring systems in 48 hours. Topcem Premix can easily be screeded or sloped, and has the workability and working time of conventional mortars with a much faster curing time. It is ideal for filling trenches, re-sloping balconies, or forming screeds that may or may not receive subsequent flooring installations.
Ultrabond Turf PU 1K is a fast-setting, moisture-curing, one-component, polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for seaming and direct bonding of synthetic turf in high-performance sports installations. Ultrabond Turf PU 1K can be used in both interior and exterior applications and has excellent weather resistance. Ultrabond Turf PU 1K meets FIFA requirements for bond and shear in sports turf applications.
Ultrabond ECO 570 is a moisture-curing, one-component, polyurethane polymer adhesive specifically designed for the direct bonding of high-performance reground-rubber sports flooring in interior or exterior applications. Its unique formulation is perfectly suited for most types of reground-rubber sports flooring and provides an aggressive and durable bond. Ultrabond ECO 570 utilizes rapidly renewable raw materials as part of the formulation and is free of phthalate plasticizers.
Ultrabond ECO 560 is a proprietary acrylic polymer-based adhesive with enhanced bonding characteristics specifically for rubber sheet and tile flooring. It can also be used to bond solid vinyl sheet, plank and tile; vinyl composition tile (VCT); and felt-backed vinyl sheet flooring. Ultrabond ECO 560 flashes quickly to its tacky phase and is suitable for use over porous and nonporous substrates. Its unique performance characteristics, non-hazardous components and low volatile organic content make it suitable for use when two-component urethane products cannot be recommended.

Ultrabond Turf Tape is a PET-based, spun-bonded fabric with a polyethylene film attached specifically to work with Ultrabond ECO® 590 turf adhesive for seaming artificial turf. Ultrabond Turf Tape is waterproof and provides superior tensile strength and tear resistance, which is vital for installations of professional athletic playing fields. It is also perfectly suited as a seaming base for other artificial turf applications, including installations of residential landscaping, playgrounds and golf courses.
Ultrabond Turf 527 is a moisture-curing, one-component, polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for the repair of existing outdoor turf in high-performance sports installations. Ultrabond Turf 527 can be used in both interior and exterior applications, and has excellent weather resistance. A light misting of water will speed up the cure time of Ultrabond Turf 527, allowing for quick repairs. Ultrabond Turf 527 meets FIFA requirements for bond and shear in sports-turf applications.
Ultrabond Turf 537 is a fast-set, two-component, 100%-epoxy adhesive designed for high strength and fast repairs of artificial turf used in athletic applications. Ultrabond Turf 537 is provided in a dual-cartridge assembly with a single-use static mixer, eliminating the mess and the need to mix the two components by hand. Inserted under the turf repair, Ultrabond Turf 537 cures within 2 hours under normal conditions to a very high bond strength that is in excess of FIFA requirements. It is waterproof and will provide a permanent repair that will stand up to the rigors of play, no matter what the sport.
Ultrabond Turf 577 is a high-performance, latex-based adhesive designed for the seaming and direct bonding of artificial turf used in landscape applications. Ultrabond Turf 577 is colored green to blend in with most artificial turf products. It provides a tough durable bond when applied over Ultrabond Turf Tape or as a direct bond over properly prepared substrates.
Ultrabond Turf 590 is a moisture-curing, one-component, polyurethane adhesive specifically designed for seaming and direct bonding of outdoor turf in high-performance sports installations. Ultrabond Turf 590 can be used in both interior and exterior applications and has excellent weather resistance. Ultrabond Turf 590 meets FIFA requirements for bond and shear in sports-turf applications.
Ultrabond Turf PU 2K is a high-performance, two-component, fast-set urethane adhesive designed for the high-performance seaming and direct bonding of artificial turf used in athletic and landscape applications. Ultrabond Turf PU 2K is particularly suited for use in areas of low ambient relative humidity and in cool temperatures. Ultrabond Turf PU 2K is colored green to blend in with most artificial turf products and cures within 2 to 4 hours to a tough durable bond. Ultrabond Turf PU 2K provides seam strengths that are in compliance with FIFA standards.
Planiprep AR adhesive remover is a powerful, water-based adhesive remover designed to remove most latex-based adhesives quickly and easily from the surface of concrete subfloors. Planiprep AR is the first step in preparing a concrete subfloor to receive new floor covering. It must be used in conjunction with Planiprep SA concrete scouring agent and Planiprep ET epoxy concrete subfloor treatment.
Planiprep ET epoxy concrete subfloor treatment is an ultra low-viscosity, two-component, penetrating 100%-epoxy treatment designed to prepare concrete slabs for subsequent flooring installation that have been treated using Planiprep SA concrete scouring agent. Planiprep ET penetrates deeply into the prepared concrete surface, strengthening it and creating a suitable surface for direct application of all MAPEI adhesives that are approved for use on nonporous substrates. Planiprep ET must be used in a system with Planiprep SA. Used in this manner, the product system provides subfloor moisture emission control up to 12 lbs. (5,44 kg) and 92% relative humidity (RH) without the need for shotblasting the concrete surface.
Planiprep SA is a powerful, water-based stripping solution designed for preparing nonporous or chemically contaminated concrete surfaces (i.e., post-abatement treated surfaces or surfaces treated with Planiprep AR adhesive remover). Planiprep SA is used in conjunction with Planiprep ET epoxy concrete subfloor treatment to prepare surfaces to receive floor covering of all types. This product will chemically etch the surface of clean concrete, promoting excellent adhesion for the subsequent application of Planiprep ET.
Mapelastic Smart is a cementitious membrane for protecting new concrete structures, concrete structures repaired with Mapecem® or Planitop® mortars, renders with hairline cracks and any cementitious surface subject to vibrations and the subsequent cracking. Mapelastic Smart also is designed for waterproofing such hydraulic projects as channels and faces of dams as well as swimming pools, basins, storage tanks, balconies and terraces.
Mapelastic 315 is a trowel-applied, two-component, flexible, fiber-reinforced waterproofing and crack-isolation membrane. Mapelastic 315 meets ANSI A118.10 requirements for waterproofing and is IAPMO-listed as a shower-pan liner.
Ultrabond ECO 975 capitalizes on MAPEI’s Ultralite Technology™ to provide a lightweight, 100%-solids, one-component moisture-cured urethane adhesive specifically designed for the installation of engineered wood flooring. Ultrabond ECO 975 reduces the pail weight by approximately 33% and yet provides similar coverage when compared with traditional urethane products. Ultrabond ECO 975 is easier to trowel, has excellent trowel-ridge hold, provides quick grab and offers excellent final bond strength.
Ultrabond ECO 995 is MAPEI’s premium, 100%-solids, one-component, moisture-curing urethane adhesive for all types of wood flooring and bamboo. Ultrabond ECO 995 can be used in a single-coat application method that provides a superior bond and moisture vapor emission control on concrete slabs (up to 15 lbs. [6,80 kg] in MVER or 85% relative humidity). Ultrabond ECO 995 also provides sound-reduction properties, making it suitable for use in multi-unit housing project. The formulation of Ultrabond ECO 995 has been developed using rapidly renewable raw materials and provides the ultimate in bonding environmentally sensitive wood flooring.
Ultrabond ECO 960 is a professional-grade, high-tack, high-solids wood-flooring adhesive specifically designed for the installation of traditional engineered wood floors. Use for the installation of engineered wood plank, acrylic impregnated plank and wood parquet.
Ultrabond ECO 985 is MAPEI’s premium single-component, hybrid-polymer-based wood-flooring adhesive that is formulated without water, solvents, amines, isocyanates, phthalate plasticizers or epoxy resins, and has an extremely low emission level of volatile organic compounds. Ultrabond ECO 985 provides all the bond security of a urethane wood-flooring adhesive, but is easier to clean and has a better coverage rate.
Ultrabond ECO 980 is MAPEI’s 100%-solids, one-component moisture-cured urethane adhesive, recommended for mainstream wood floor installation. Ultrabond ECO 980’s formulation is perfectly suited for traditional solid wood flooring and engineered wood flooring of all sizes. Easy to trowel, Ultrabond ECO 980 exhibits quick grab to hold planks in place during installation, yet it provides enough slip time to align everything perfectly.
Mapeguard 2 is a next-generation, flexible thin, 40-mil lightweight, load-bearing, fabric-reinforced “peel-and-stick” crack-isolation membrane. After application, ceramic tile or stone can be installed immediately with any polymer-modified cement-based mortar. Glue-down wood flooring can also be installed with any MAPEI urethane adhesive.
MAPEI SM Primer is a ready-to-use, fast-drying, water-based, latex primer for use under MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes on residential and commercial indoor or outdoor floors. MAPEI SM Primer greatly increases the bond of MAPEI’s peel-and-stick sheet membranes to concrete, plywood and other approved, properly prepared floors. It can be applied with a roller or brush, is white in color and dries clear.
ltrabond Urethane Cleaner is a ready-to-use urethane adhesive cleaner designed to effectively remove wet urethane adhesive residues, such as Ultrabond ECO® 975, Ultrabond ECO 980, Ultrabond ECO 990 and Ultrabond ECO 995, from the surface of prefinished wood flooring. It is low-odor, nonflammable, pH-neutral and biodegradable. Safe for use on most types of prefinished wood flooring including parquet, engineered, solid and bamboo, Ultrabond Urethane Cleaner also removes urethane adhesive from trowels and tools.
Ultrabond 905 is a fast-curing, 100%-solids, moisture-cured urethane gun-grade adhesive designed for basic wood subfloor construction practices as well as wood-flooring repair, wood stair nosings, wood molding, baseboards, and tack strip attachment to concrete subfloors. Ultrabond 905 is also a general-purpose construction adhesive suitable for use in both interior and exterior applications. Ultrabond 905 exceeds all requirements of AFG-01 and ASTM D3498-03 for bonding plywood to lumber framing.
Ultrabond 915 is is a fast-curing, low-viscosity, 100%-solids, reactive adhesive designed to repair loose flooring and fill hollow spots in floor installations. Packaged in a convenient dual-cartridge assembly with a static mixer, Ultrabond 915 is easy to use and allows for repairs with a minimum amount of mess or damage to the surface of the flooring.
