Electrode Steam Humidifier

Nortec NHTC / NHPC
NORTEC Electrode Steam Humidifier

The Nortec NHTC / PC produces clean uncontaminated steam with variable output through electronic power control of the electrodes. Water borne minerals remain in the cylinder and are periodically flushed out through the automatic cylinder drain. Solid mineral scale sinks to the bottom of the cylinder which, when filled with residue, is easily removed and replaced.

Resistive Element Humidifier

Nortec NHRS
NORTEC Resistive Element Humidifier

The Nortec NHRS offers highest accuracy performance including operation between 3-10% of total rated capacity. The NHRS is designed for use with potable or DI/RO water. When using the SSR option with a high precision humidistat, the NHRS can be accurate to ±1% rh. For potable water applications, the unique scale collector tank option saves time and money during cleaning. The plastic liner ensures the scale accumulating on the tank walls will be easily removed.

OEM - Component Humidifier

The Nortec GS Series has a built-in modular stainless steel heat exchanger - its flat surfaces ensure easy cleaning and its proven design ensures reliable operation in all water conditions. The control system is powered by a 120V or 208-240V single phase electrical supply. Each humidifier is built to operate with a normal potable cold water source, RO (reverse osmosis), or DI (De-mineralized) water as a standard.

Nozzles/Evaporative

Compressed Air Nozzles

Nortec AIRFOG
NORTEC Compressed Air Nozzles

Nortec AIRFOG nozzles use water and compressed air to create a fine mist, providing both humidification and cooling. AIRFOG systems are designed for direct room applications and are available as custom systems (AFE Nozzles), or pre-packaged units (Mini, Octo).

High Pressure Nozzles

Nortec HP Series
NORTEC High Pressure Nozzles

Nortec HP Series systems use a high pressure pump to create a fine mist for ducted humidification and cooling applications. Pumps skids are factory assembled and are available with either brass or stainless steel pumps, and are available with variable frequency drives. Flexible and energy efficient, HP HVAC can be engineered to fit almost any application.

Evaporative Media Humidifier

Nortec MH Series
NORTEC Evaporative Media Humidifier

Nortec MH Series humidifiers evaporate moisture from wetted media to provide both humidity and cooling for ducted projects. At the heart of the unit is an advanced polyester media which can evaporate more moisture in less depth and has an industry leading UL 900 Class 1 smoke and flame rating. Featuring the lowest energy usage of any humidifier, the MH series is an ideal choice for energy conscious projects.

Central Steam

Direct Steam Injection Humidifier

Nortec LiveSteam
NORTEC Direct Steam Injection Humidifier

Nortec LiveSteam humidifiers are pre-engineered systems designed to control and distribute steam under pressure, from a facility steam boiler, for direct introduction into a duct or Air Handling Unit. The Steam distributors are constructed of high quality 304 stainless steel and can be configured for single or multiple configurations. LiveSteam distributors are available in a wide variety of lengths ranging from 12" to 144" to suit your duct size for the best possible steam dispersion. Superior tube in tube design ensures maximum jacketing (97%), thus preventing condensate discharge, while maintaining the preferred round shape. Optional stainless steel insulation jacket encompasses 1/2" fiberglass insulation to improve efficiency and minimize heat transfer to the air stream. B2C

Steam Exchange Humidifier

Nortec SE Series
NORTEC Steam Exchange Humidifier

The Nortec SE Series utilizes existing facility boiler steam as the energy source to generate clean, mineral free, sterile steam for humidification. The stainless steel heat exchanger is designed for maximum output while its flat surfaces ensure easy cleaning and maintenance. The SE is a fully packaged product and ready for use with potable, RO (reverse osmosis), or DI (De-mineralized) water. Available in 3 models: SEP (base), SETC (premiere), and the SETC Outdoor.

Steam Distribution

Short Absorption Manifold

SAM-e
NORTEC Short Absorption Manifold

Nortec's best performing steam absorption system for use in Air Handling Units and duct systems where short steam absorption distance is critical. The SAM-e, Short Absorption Manifold, distributes clean steam, precisely controlled, uniformly into the air stream, and void of any condensate spray. Steam distribution takes place via distributor tubes with integrated nozzles which extend into the center of the distribution tube ensuring only condensate-free steam is released. Condensate drains out of the distribution tubes through the header, eliminating the need for jacketed tubes. A Mini SAM-e is also available for use in ducts with heights ranging from 8" - 24" (20.3 - 61.0 cm). Optional stainless steel air gap insulation can reduce energy losses by up to 70%, while ensuring efficient and hygienic operation.

Blower Packs

NORTEC Blower Packs

Blower Packs are an optional accessory used for direct steam distribution into localized areas, or into structures that do not have a built-in air distribution system. When used with the NH Series and RH residential models, built-on Blower Backs are available for ease of installation. Remote mounted Blower Packs are also available with the NH, SE, GH Series and RH residential model humidifiers for better distribution of the steam in the space being humidified.

Single Distributors

NORTEC Single Distributors

Nortec's Atmospheric Steam Distributor allows for direct introduction of atmospheric steam into a duct system or Air Handling Unit. Atmospheric steam distributors are designed for use with NH, GS, SE series and RH residential humidifiers. All steam distributor tubes are made of stainless steel and adjustable for horizontal or vertical flow applications. An Integral condensate return allows for condensate produced at the distributor to be returned back to the humidifier or drained through a convenient floor drain.
