Overview:
Founded in 1856 in Cologne, Germany by the Pohl family the original company specialized in traditional blacksmith work. This continued for over 100 years until June 1969 when the first bending equipment was bought to meet the demand for formed metal.
In 1986, Pohl Inc. was formed to service the United States. In 1995, a manufacturing plant was started in Salt Lake City to form architectural metal panels fabricated from aluminum, stainless steel copper, zinc and bronze. Pohl Inc. of America, a Utah corporation, was established in 1998 to take over the operation of the Salt Lake facility and to market Pohl panels throughout the United States.
Today, more than 650 people are employed in 5 production plants in Germany and one in the United States. Pohl Inc. of America also has sales offices and marketing offices located in their Salt Lake City Facility.
Pohl is a façade solution company with several Rainscreen systems that that are applicable to most metal and terracotta wall projects.

TERRA XXL
|
The Terra-XXL is a Terracotta Rainscreen System featuring Ceramic Terracotta tile from Faveton that has less than a 3% moisture absorption rate, comes with an anti-graffiti coating standard, and is available in large tile formats up to 5 FT wide and 2 FT high.
The Faveton tile is hung on an open joint Rainscreen designed by Pohl and features a special zinc clip to support the tile with a back up gasket that prevents the tile from shifting.

The Europanel System is a versatile open jointed system based on the Rainscreen principle. This system is suitable for vertical panel orientation on low to high-rise buildings. This system can be formed from a variety of metals and thicknesses. The Europanel System uses concealed or exposed hanging pins, vertical tracks, and anchoring devices. This system is also usable for bent or curved profiles.

The Ecopanel System is based on the Rainscreen principle. This system is horizontal in orientation and is best suited for low to mid-rise buildings. This system can be formed from a variety of metals and thicknesses, and can be used for bent or curved profiles.

The Slimline System was designed and developed to meet the design needs of thinner cladding depths for new and existing façades.
Similar to the Europanel System, Slimline is an open jointed Rainscreen System. The Slimline System is best suited for low to mid-rise
buildings and has a horizontal orientation. This system is flexible in design and is suitable for most exterior cladding requirements.
