Republic´s DM series doors are available in 18 or 20 gauge cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Republic´s “McKenzie Edge” lock edge is continuously lap seam welded and planished, providing a near seamless appearance - SDI levels 1 and 2 - Physical performance level A. 3 channel full flush square edge steel door.
Republic’s DL series doors are available in 16, 18, and 20 gauge cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Face sheets are continuously projection welded to hinge and lock channels on 5” centers. SDI Levels 2 and 3 – Physical performance level A. 4 channel full flush square edge steel door. Overlapping door skins on the vertical edges provide an aesthetically pleasing appearance.
Republic’s DE series doors are available in 14, 16, 18, and 20 gauge cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Republic offers a wide variety of embossed panel insulated doors such as our traditional 6-panel design, 8′ 6-panel design with elongated panels, 2-panel colonial design, and 8 panel designs. Republic′s Unifit™ series doors are available in 16, 18, and 20 gauge cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Face sheets are continuously projection welded to hinge channels on 5" centers. SDI Levels 2 and 3 - Physical performance level A. A single door design that meets any door replacement need.
ME Series shall be formed from 16, 14, or 12 gauge cold-rolled steel or galvanealed steel. Universal Frames utilize mitered corners with alignment tabs and slots for knock-down use or for welding.
Republic MH series frames are available for either 1-3/8" or 1-3/4" thick doors. They have precision mitered corners providing a smooth attractive design and are designed to install in less than 10 minutes. Drywall Frames utilize mitered corners with alignment tabs and slots that interlock to secure the jambs to the head.
Republic pre-engineered steel frame components called “sticks” provide unlimited flexibility for opening systems. Stick components are used to fabricate even the most complex entrance fronts, partitions and window wall designs. Republic’s variety of jamb depths and sizes permits limitless design freedom. Because stick assemblies are normally welded, they offer strength without seams showing between vertical and horizontal members.
The emphasis on life safety and property protection has never been greater than it is today. Republic provides a comprehensive line of 1 3/8” and 1 3/4 ” thick labeled doors and frames to meet all requirements for fire protection. All of Republic’s door constructions conform to certified fire door procedures whether the doors are furnished with labels or not. Since label requirements vary throughout the country, local authorities having jurisdiction regarding the use of label opening should be consulted during the design and planning stages.
Architectural hardware is any device, sensor or auxiliary item attached to a frame or door, this hardware is either specified and/or required for the operation and functionality of the door assembly.
All Republic Doors, frames and sticks are regularly prepared for various types and grades of architectural hardware. All hardware preparations are made in accordance with published and or registered manufacturer’s template information.
The purpose of a Republic steel frame is to support and allow for the operation of swinging type doors. This requires hinge and strike preparations in the jambs, as well as preparations for flush bolts, exit devices, anchor hinges, etc. in the header. Most of these preparations require the frame be cutout and reinforced to receive the hardware.
Republic′s acoustical/sound transmission control doors are tested in accordance with ASTM E90 & E413 and are available in STC ratings of 35, 38, 42, 48, 50, and 52. Doors are available in cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Face sheets are continuously welded to hinge and lock channels. SDI Level 4 - Physical performance level A.
Republic′s bullet resistant DE series doors are tested and labeled in accordance with UL752 and are available in all 8 levels of bullet resistant protection. Doors are available in cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel. Face sheets are continuously welded to hinge and lock channels. SDI Level 4 - Physical performance level A.
Republic offers a wide variety of hurricane tested and certified door and frame products both as components and as complete assemblies. The charts, Product Tested (Component) and Product Tested (FBC Assemblies), depict the extensive testing that Republic has done along with size and hardware configurations approved by the state of Florida for coastal areas subject to the damaging affects of hurricanes/windstorm force winds and debris.
Republic′s FEMA approved doors are tested and labeled in accordance with FEMA 320 and 361 guidelines for above ground storm shelters. Doors are available in cold rolled steel or galvanealed (A60) steel.
