Rmax ECOBASEci™ is a composite product of polyiso insulation with inorganic, polymer coated glass fiber mat facers bonded to 5/8" or 3/4" fire retardant treated plywood (FRTP). This insulation has been tested for multiple NFPA 285 assemblies and is approved for use in exterior walls of buildings of any height.

The R-Trac HVHZ System helps defend against damage caused by heavy winds, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and high wind storms. The System has been tested to withstand wind speeds of up to 200 mph, which can help combat a category 3 hurricane or an F3 tornado.

Vented Nailable Base-3 is a composite panel with glass fiber/organic mat faced polyiso insulation bonded to furring strips and a 7/16" OSB nailing surface. The solid wood furring strips come in 3/4" to 2" thicknesses for straight-line venting from the soffit to the ridge.

This product is great for preventing heat build-up and helps remove moisture as airflow is provided under the OSB and shingles.

In this two-step Vented Nailable Base-3 system, the insulation with glass fiber/organic mat facers is installed first, followed by a separate OSB nailing surface with factory attached furring strips.

Advantage Nailable Base-3 is used in steep slope roofing applications and is applied to the roof structure in order to provide a layer of continuous thermal insulation and increased moisture protection.

R-Matte® Plus-3 is a versatile multi-application product with a durable white-matte (non-glare) reinforced aluminum facer and a reflective reinforced aluminum facer. This thermal insulation is designed for use in cavity walls, masonry walls, vaulted ceilings and many other building envelope continuous insulation applications. R-Matte® Plus-3 is an excellent choice for many do-it-yourself applications to add insulation value to any project.

This superior thermal insulation board is a composite product manufactured with Rmax Thermasheath®-3 or Rmax Durasheath®-3 as the insulation layer bonded to a nailing surface. The standard nailing surface for ThermaBase-CI is 7/16" OSB (APA rated). Alternate nailing surfaces, such as 5/8" or 3/4" OSB or CDX plywood, are available upon request.

ThermaBase-CI™ is engineered to allow for normal expansion of the wood without gaping the insulation layer.

Thermasheath®-SI is a composite product made up of energy-efficient insulation and a structural component and is designed to work seamlessly with non-structural Rmax Thermasheath®-3. The insulation component is a closed-cell polyiso foam bonded to reflective, reinforced aluminum facers. The structural component is a board made up of pressure laminated plies of cellulosic fibers specially treated with a water-resistant adhesive.

Thermasheath®-SI is suitable for use in residential wood stud construction. Furthermore, with 1/2" interior gypsum, it is designed to be a one-to-one substitute for wood sheathing in shear wall resistance.

Insulation for Exposed Applications - Thermasheath®-XP

Rmax Thermasheath®-XP has a closed-cell polyiso foam core bonded on both sides to highly durable, embossed aluminum facers. One side is white with a modified acrylic coating and the other side has a clear coating for a silver, reflective finish. Either side can be left exposed up to 4.5" on walls or 12" on ceilings - offering visual flexibility and value.

This insulation is ideal for basements, crawls spaces and many other continuous insulation applications. Thermasheath®-XP is designed for use without a thermal barrier to provide an attractive interior finish.
