Overview:
RollEase Inc., based in Stamford, Connecticut, designs, manufactures and markets manual operating systems for soft and hard window coverings. Our proprietary and innovative manual clutch systems are designed for roller shades, woven woods, mini blinds, 2" horizontal blinds, pleated shades, cellular shades, as well as roman and balloon shades. These patented systems are changing the "traditional ways" in which shades and blinds are raised, lowered and tilted.
RollEase, established in 1980, serves all segments of the domestic and international window covering industry; including OEM's, fabricators, workrooms, commercial contractors, interior designers, architects, retailers, and mail order catalogs.

R Series Clutches
|
The RollEase Roller Shade System is a manually-operated mechanism (clutch) for raising and lowering all types of roller shades. By simply pulling on a control cord or bead chain at one end of the shade, the operator can easily and precisely position any shade weighing up to 30 pounds (13,5 kg). The system can be specified with either left-hand or right-hand control. An optional fascia panel hides the roller. Cords are available in many colors of polyester and in metal or plastic bead chain.

The RollEase Spring Assist combines our advanced, patented RollEase clutch technology with a new spring which, when pre-rotated to the designated tension, reduces the pull force necessary to raise and lower heavy shades weighing up to 30 lbs. (a fully assembled shade) to an average of just 6 lbs.

The Skyline Collection includes a hooked clutch, a universal bracketing system with covers, 2-on-1 shared bracket option, spring loaded pin end and notchless curved and square fascia system. The RollEase Versarail, 1 Inch Headrail System is a manually operated mechanism for raising and lowering Pleated, Cellular, Soft Shades, and Woven Wood Shades. RollEase offers a 1 inch and 1.5 inch headrail. By simply pulling on the control cord, the operator can easily and precisely position any shade weighing up to 10 pounds (4.5 kg) and measuring 14 feet (4.2 m) wide by 12 feet (3.6 m) tall. You can specify left-hand or right-hand control. The system is appropriate for both commercial and residential applications.

The RollEase 1" (25mm) Horizontal Blind System is a mono-control system, which raises and lowers the blind and tilts the slats with the same control cord. The system can be used in any one-inch horizontal blind that weighs up to 10 lbs. (4.5 kg) and measures up to 12 feet (3.6 m) in height. You can specify left or right-hand control. The system is appropriate for both residential and commercial applications.

The RollEase Workroom System is the sleek, smooth way to raise grass, woven wood, Roman, Balloon, Austrian, folding screen shades, and all other bottom-up soft treatments.The manually-operated mechanism raises shades evenly, without piles of cords. With today's heavier shades, the 3-to-1 mechanical lifting advantage makes specifying the RollEase Operating System now more important than ever. By simply pulling on either side of a control cord or bead chain, the operator can quickly and precisely position any shade that weighs up to 30 pounds (14 kg). Left-hand or right-hand control can be specified.
