Custom Doors & Entryways

|
SDC doors are constructed of only the finest quality materials in a wide choice of wood species including Northeastern Pine, Red Oak, White Oak, Birch, White Hard Maple, Walnut, Poplar, South American Mahogany, Teak, Cherry, White Ash and other Special Sawn materials. Fabricated with dowel construction, Somerset doors are generally manufactured of solid wood with full thickness panels for higher insulating values; however, stave core construction is available. For doors requiring leaded or stained glass, Somerset designers can offer custom designs and fabrication of the glass or the doors can be supplied without glass.
SDC's custom doors can be ordered prehung and premachined if desired. They can be supplied premachined for hinges, prehung with no lockset premachining, or prehung and premachined for cylindrical or mortise type locks. A wide variety of locksets and hardware is available for all custom doors. Most door orders can be shipped directly to the job site for the convenience of the installer. Orders of 75 or more doors may require several shipments. For estimates, contact our sales department.
