Overview:
SSHC, Inc. produces and distributes radiant heating systems for ceilings, walls, and floors, plus a broad selection or controls appropriate for controlling radiant panels in accordance with the design specification. The Company believes that all heating systems should be designed in concert with the building design and components, and provides system design and layout services based upon information provided. The Company believes that it is the only company designing to local occupant thermal comfort, which affords the most energy efficient, life time heating system.
SSHC, Inc. is the pioneer and sole producer of fast acting, low- and high-density electric radiant heatmodules. ENERJOY PEOPLEHEATERS® were first recognized by the National Institute of Standards and Technology for selection by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) as Energy Related Inventions Program (ERIP) #34. Subsequently, the National Association of Homebuilders Research Center conducted the ENERJOY Case Study under the U.S. DOE Advanced Housing Technology Program. Solid State Heating has been awarded the E Seal Certificate of Recognition for leadership in marketing the nation's highest energy and environmental criteria as an E Seal partner.
Produced in Old Saybrook, CT, each panel is tested to assure UL conformance and safety. ENERJOY PEOPLEHEATERS® are in use in every known heating application and have been solving heating problems for more than a decade.

ENERJOY HEATMODULES®
|
The Comfort Center features the full range of desired ENERJOY PEOPLEHEATER sizes and wattages necessary to heat any size bathroom. Control is achieved by any one of several thermostats designed to handle the low amp draw of the ENERJOY PEOPLEHEATERS which are available in either 120 or 240volt models or commercial voltages. The bathroom light is a 100-watt incandescent, 18-watt compact fluorescent is available. Low Sone ratings range from .3 to 2.5, depending on the air volume (CFM) desired. Low wattage fan motors are standard. Where continuous ventilation is desired, the control is illuminated while the fan is operating. The three-rocker Decora wall switch is single gang where non-illuminated switching is appropriate.
