Stretch 54®
Six inches wider than a standard 48" gypsum board panel, Stretch 54 reduces the number of drywall joints in nine-foot walls for a smoother surface, critical for today's thinner wallpapers and new no-texture finishes. That’s because two standard width boards come up one foot short when hanging drywall on nine-foot walls. A one-foot filler strip must be used to complete the wall, which also adds an additional joint to tape and float.

By supplementing gypsum board’s natural fire resistance with glass fibers and other additives, our fire-rated board proudly carries the Underwriter Laboratories’ stamp of approval. Yet it offers the same smooth, consistent surface that is as easy to work with as our regular gypsum board.

StructGuard TS
Temple-Inland StructGuard is a specially engineered gypsum sheathing product that incorporates the TemShield mold resistant technology into the face paper and core. Providing code-required racking resistance while cutting installation time and labor, Temple-Inland StructGuard TS delivers the structural strength you need at a significantly lower material cost than OSB or plywood. Designed with your productivity in mind, it can be scored and cut with just a utility knife. StructGuard TS also features the TemShield Mold Protection System to resist mold and mildew. Plus, to keep wall cavities dry and help prevent moisture-related damage, its permeability lets interior water vapor escape and that means fewer callbacks and fewer long-term worries.

Span 24
Span 24 is a 1/2" gypsum board specifically designed to maintain exceptional flatness on ceilings framed 24" o.c. Thinner and lighter than traditional 5/8" panels, it’s also easier to handle and more cost efficient. Stronger than regular 1/2" gypsum, it surpassed the standards for 5/8" material in ATSM sag tests conducted at 90° Fahrenheit and 90% humidity.
