Rainwater Harvesting / Stormwater Retention and Detention image

Rainwater Harvesting / Stormwater Retention and Detention

Underground and Aboveground tanks designed for Rainwater harvesting and storm water detention applications. As water is increasingly recognized as a critical and limited resource, collection and management of water is an important aspect of facility design. Our storage tanks are widely for these applications as well as grey water recycling and chiller unit water collection. Use of a storage tanks can also provide a number of design options for earning LEED® credits.

Fire Protection Standby Water

Underground and Aboveground tanks designed for use in standby water supply systems to supplement a pressurized municipal water system or as a cistern for water storage as part of a stand-alone dry hydrant design. Use of fiberglass tanks in these applications can be found as recognized system designs in NFPA 22 Standard for Water Tanks for Private Fire Protection.

Potable Water

Underground and Aboveground tanks are available in NSF-listed models with an NSF label affixed to it. An extensive level of testing and facility inspection is necessary to obtain approval to apply an NSF label to a tank. Most competitive products simply use listed materials and don''t subject their products to NSF''s rigorous tests. This can be verified on NSF''s website of listed products. An NSF-listed potable water tank is available in both underground and aboveground models.

Onsite Septic Wastewater

Underground and Aboveground tanks are an important component of small and large flow decentralized wastewater treatment systems, which are becoming increasingly popular. The watertight design of our fiberglass tanks is critical to maintaining these systems and preventing groundwater influent or wastewater effluent issues. Tanks can be equipped with baffles and a variety of accessories designed specifically for onsite applications.

Grease Interceptors image

Grease Interceptors

Underground and Aboveground Grease Interceptor tanks are commonly used in commercial and institutional kitchen design applications. The fats, oils and grease (FOG) that is found in these tanks creates a very corrosion environment which is ideally suited to fiberglass tanks. Regulations are increasingly focusing on the Interceptors being water tight and structurally competent. Our Interceptors are available in a wide range of sizes including IAPMO-listed models.

Oil/Water Separators image

Oil/Water Separators

Underground and Aboveground Oil/Water Separators are designed to capture parking lot and vehicle wash-down runoff. They are often used for emergency spill collection as well as oil/water separation. We offer models that utilize coalescers which accelerate the separation process, or models based on gravity separation. We also offer models that are UL-listed, demonstrating a third-party verification of separator performance data.

Industrial Wastewater and Chemical Tanks image

Industrial Wastewater and Chemical Tanks

Underground and Aboveground tanks that are designed for a wide range of chemical or wastewater storage or short term collection applications which are common to industrial and commercial facilities. Fiberglass is generally the material of choice for tanks installed underground or aboveground, when the products are corrosive in nature. Application examples include landfill leachate, wash-down of food processing equipment and decontamination drain collection, chemical storage and processing among many others.
