The patented resin technology in the complete system of DuPont™ Imron® Industrial Strength product line provides high value products, ultra low 0.3 lbs/gal. VOC with improved productivity, advanced adhesion, and excellent gloss and color retention. The product line includes balanced factory package high gloss colors that may be used by themselves or intermixed to create hundreds of additional colors. Dries in as little as 90 minutes! Three new products completing the product line include a primer, a high gloss clear, and a flattening agent to create reduced gloss topcoats.
DuPont™; Imron® Polyurethanes are known for superior color and gloss retention, durability and ease of use. Imron® Polyurethanes dry fast and cure at low a temperature, leaving the popular “wet look that lasts.” They are also available in multiple gloss levels, from high gloss to flat.
From DuPont science comes these popular epoxies based on DuPont modified polyamide epoxy technology. Corlar® Epoxies are highly durable, formulated for a wide variety of uses, and provide outstanding corrosion and chemical resistance. They create films that resist solvents and chemicals, and are tough and abrasion resistant. Many products in this line are recognized for their surface tolerant and direct-to-metal capabilities.
Tufcote® Alkyds provide very quick drying products with good corrosion resistance in mild environments. Polyacryl anhydride products are based
on patented non-isocyanate DuPont technology. They deliver good gloss and
color retention in a durable finish.
These solventborne and waterborne coatings are designed for interior and exterior use on carbon steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, aluminum, poured concrete, concrete block, wood, plastics, drywall and plaster.
All DuPont Industrial Coatings products can be applied by brush, roller and a variety of spray application methods. They’re available in factory-packaged colors and can be mixed to match an extremely wide variety of custom colors.
