TrusSteel, an ITW Company, Acquires Dynatruss
Haines City, FL – March 26, 2009
TrusSteel, A Division of ITW Building Components Group Inc., announced today that it has acquired the assets of Dynatruss, a leading supplier of cold-formed steel truss products. TrusSteel will maintain the Dynatruss™ brand name and operate it as a subsidiary of TrusSteel. The Dynatruss™ system will continue to be manufactured at the facilities of Allied Tube & Conduit, Inc., located in Phoenix, AZ and Harvey, IL.
"The Dynatruss™ product line and experienced Dynatruss fabricators will allow us to provide a broader range of component products and services to the structural framing industry," said Dave Dunbar, general manager of TrusSteel. "The combined strengths, and market penetration, of TrusSteel and Dynatruss emphasize our focus on providing innovative solutions and fortify our position as market leader."
TrusSteel, the most recognized name in proprietary cold-formed steel trusses, also provides pre-engineered framing solutions, design software, fabrication machinery and engineering services to the commercial and residential construction industry.

ARC™ Curved Trusses
|
TrusSteel is proud to introduce ARC™ curved trusses. ARC trusses offer smoothly-curved (not segmented) top and/or bottom chords that make these trusses the perfect solution for framing curved roofs, arched or barrel-vaulted canopies, or any design element with an arc or radius curve.
ARC trusses can span up to 80 foot clear (depending upon configuration). Overhangs or cantilevers are no problem. For tall roofs, ARC trusses can work in piggyback truss situations. For long spans, ARC trusses can be fabricated and shipped in sections and spliced at the job site.

The unique proprietary chord shapes and fastening technology combine to give TrusSteel trusses the highest strength-to-weight ratio of all CFS truss systems. And, these trusses are exceptionally stiff and resistant to out-of-plane bending.
