Willseal’s vapor permeable sealants can withstand driving rain of 90 mph (1,000 Pa) while maintaining breathability. Willseal materials can be colored without a silicone face and are ideally suited for cavity walls, relieving angles and lintels.
Willseal, has developed larger, +/-50% movement capable joint systems designed to meet UL 2079 test standards. These
next generation systems incorporate a first ever smoke barrier that eliminates the need for intumescent coatings, which are easily damaged. Willseal FR-2V and FR-2H feature a fire-retardant impregnation and are designed to meet UL 2079 standards without any silicone coatings.

Buildings of all ages can experience damage due to water penetration into walls through joints and
around windows. This unwanted moisture can cause freeze thaw issues, finish material degradation,
and mold propagation. If the internal atmospheric humidity of a wall is increased by 5%, it can lower
insulating R-Values by as much as 50%. Willseal products are designed to allow condensation and
moisture to escape.
The Willseal technology has an optimum internal geometry for a noise barrier design, while allowing
for dynamic movement. Willseal products have an E-90 Sound Transmission Test Rating of STC >50 in
a STC 56 rated wall.
