WoodTrends panel & planks wall and ceiling systems show the beauty of real wood with the added benefit of acoustic performance. Our panels and planks are available for wood wall and wood ceiling applications and utilize standard industry mounting components.
WoodTrends® Wood Systems offer the beauty of real wood with excellent acoustical performance. WoodTrends systems are available in six systems for walls or ceiling in over 26 standard wood species selections. WoodTrends systems are offered in both non-acoustic and acoustical systems. Acoustics are achieved by a series of slots, grooves, or perforations with standard or custom patterns available. All acoustic panels come with a standard black woven textile acoustical backing. Additional absorption can be achieved by adding a layer of fiberglass.
Sound Quality® Architectural Products are the solution for areas where acoustical correction is required. Sound Quality Products include; Wall Panels, Ceiling Absorbers, Reflectors & Sound Diffusers, Specialty Ceiling Tiles and Noise Barriers.
WoodTrends® Standard is a plank style wall treatment utilizing either perforations or grooves to achieve NRC values as high as .90. Standard Wall Panels are manufactured-with either an MDF or chipboard core, and real wood veneer, finished with two coats of a UV-Polyacrylate lacquer. Twenty-six standard and forty optional veneers are available. Installation is typically by nail clip onto furring strips. A REVEAL EDGE-detail leaves a 5, 10 or 20mm groove running between planks. This groove is typically filled with a real wood strip (provided) to hide the nail clip. A FLUSH EDGE-detail requires no wood strip as the edges butt together. A 2 mm bevel typically defines the seam between planks.
WoodTrends® Topline is a plank style wall treatment utilizing a series of grooves and slots to achieve acoustic results. Built on a 16mm thick MDF with a veneer thickness of .6 mm, it is typically finished with two coats of a UV-Polyacrylate lacquer.-Plank edges are in overlap configuration to provide a monolithic finished look. Installation is by the use of nail clips onto furring strips. Topline Panels can also be installed on wood framed ceilings. Topline panels are available in 26 standard and 40 optional-veneers in many slot patterns.
WoodTrends® Timbre is a plank style wall or ceiling treatment utilizing a channeled chipboard core with acoustic results depending on the number of channels relieved by grooves. Built on either a 24 mm or 31 mm thick base material with a veneer thickness of .6 mm, it is typically finished with two coats of a uv-polyacrylate lacquer.-Plank edges are in overlap configuration to provide a monolithic finished look. Installation is typically by gluing and nailing to furring strips. Timbre Panels are available in 26 standard and 40 custom veneers.
Sound Quality® Acoustical Wall Panels by Sound Seal® are the solution for areas that require noise reduction and are available in a variety of models for various applications. All Sound Quality Wall Panels are manufactured to the highest standards. Sound Quality Wall Panels can be manufactured in standard Guilford FR 701 fabirc, designer of C.O.M. fabric in standard or custom sizes up to 5' x 10'.
Sound Quality® Pyramid and Barrel Shaped Diffusers are perfect for applications that require a high degree of sound diffusion, such as music rooms, band rooms, and concert halls. They are lightweight and easy to install on walls using a 2 part clip system. Diffusers are constructed of high strength reinforced fiberglass molded in a one piece barrel shape and are available in a white gel-coat finish or optional fabric covered. Pyramid and Barrel diffusers are finely tuned to reflect sound.
WoodTrends® Elite wood ceilings are genuine wood veneered ceiling panel system which installs easily into a standard 15/16" T-grid, leaving a 3/8" pencil line reveal between panels. Elite wood ceilings are manufactured using MDF, chipboard, or plywood core with a quality .6mm wood veneer. Unique compression spring technology allows for zero clearance above the grid and easy accessibility through any field panel. Standard sizes available are 24" x 24", 24" x 48" and 12" x 72". Available in 26 standard and 40 optional veneers.
WoodTrends® Basic Wood Ceilings are real wood veneered lay-in tegular edge panel designed for installation in typical 15/16” or 9/16” T-grid. Available in 24 standard and 40 custom veneers, WoodTrends Basic wood ceilings are finished natural with 2 coats of a clear polyacrylate lacquer. Custom staining is also available. State of the art CNC machinery provides for acoustics by means of perforations or slots. Where designs dictate, flat, reflective panels are also available.
WoodTrends® Select is a real wood veneered concealed grid style panel system. Installed on typical z-bar, WoodTrends Select provides for a continuous wood ceiling with panels defined by a small 2 mm bevel on all edges. Select Panels are available in 26 standard and 40 optional veneers, as well as custom staining available. WoodTrends Select can be designed to complement casework, doors, even furniture. State of the art CNC machinery is responsible for the selection of perforation, or slot patterns which provide NRC values as high as .85. Where design dictates, non-perforated, reflective panels are also available.
WoodTrends® Standard Wood Ceilings are linear wood plank style ceiling treatment utilizing either perforations or grooves to achieve NRC values as high as .90. Standard Wood Ceiling Panels are manufactured on either an MDF or chipboard core, using real wood veneer, finished with two coats of a UV-Polyacrylate lacquer. Twenty-four standard and forty custom veneers are available. Installation is by pivot clip onto typical 15/16” T-grid. A REVEAL EDGE detail leaves a 10 mm groove running between planks. Sound Quality Baffles are lightweight, Fire Rated (Class A), colorful and are easily installed from overhead structures. Sound Quality Ceiling Baffles can be arranged to create various architectural affects with various colors, sizes and models.
Sound Quality® Ceiling Tiles by Sound Seal® offer excellent acoustics with customized options to enhance the visual aesthetics, while satisfying acoustical requirements. Available in a variety of facing and edge details with standard sizes of 2’ x 2', 2' x 4' or custom sizes. Sound Quality ceiling tiles can be installed in a 15/16” or 9/16” T-grid.
Impacta™ Acoustical Floor Underlayments by Sound Seal are the solution from foot fall or foot step noise between the floor / ceiling assembly. Impacta Floor Underlayments are premium underlayments that are available in many models and provide sound isolation between the floor covering and the sub floor. Impacta floor underlayments are different than any other underlayments on the market today. Each product or model has been designed, engineered and manufactured specifically around the floor covering and what the floor covering needs to maintain its integrity and warranty. Many years of research & development and testing have gone into each model and will provide years of acoustical sound reduction while maintaining the integrity and warranty of the floor.
Impacta™ Jumpax is a revolutionary and certified "dual" underlayment system, especially designed for stuck down decorative floor coverings like linoleum and vinyl composition tile. The Jumpax system is a free floating sub-floor suitable for comercial and residential use. The dual underlayment system consists of a composed based board and a top board and is the best underlay system in terms of leveling and impact sound reduction.
Impacta™ Soundeater is the most recent development in the field of sound reducing sub-flooring designed for 3/4" solid and 14-15mm semi-solid hardwood flooring. Soundeater combines a specially designed tongue and groove impact absorbing soft board with a mating wooden profile. The profile is placed free from the substrate between the soft boards every 10 1/2". The top side of the profile will accept a 1 1/2" flooring nail on a 45 degree angle through 3/4" hardwood without touching the sub floor. The result is a totally free floating hardwood floor.
Impacta™ Redupax is a certified underlayment system that has been designed to meet the requirements of parquet and wood laminate flooring. Redupax is made from 100% recycled wood by-product and offers excellent impact isolation, thermal and leveling properties. The Redupax system is a free floating sub-floor suitable for commercial and residential use. Redupax systems have been installed in condominiums, apartments, hotels and resorts in living areas. In addition, it has been installed in commercial public buildings to prevent high-traffic passages on the floors above from intruding conference, office and meeting areas.
Impacta™ Redupax+ is a revolutionary new sound reducing underlay system specifically designed for glue less interlocking laminate flooring - better known as the 'click and fit' systems. These 'click and fit' systems are gaining tremendous popularity in both residential and commercial markets, as saver of both time and money. However, our continuing research of the aspects of sound transmission revealed that these "clicked" floors behave differently than the traditional tongue and groove glued laminate floors. It is because of this that we redesigned the Redupax product to address these concerns, thereby creating the Redupax Plus system specifically designed for glue less "click & fit" flooring.
Cera Silence is a sound reducing underlay systems that has been specially designed for ceramic tile and natural stone floors. Cera Silence is a completly free floating underlayment systems that is comprised of 2 parts. The bottom board is a 15 mm soft board with a vvp paper layer with an interactive contact adhesive that when removed bonds to the top board. The top board is a 10mm cement-bonded wood fiber board with an interactive contact adhesive that attaches to the bottom board. For optimum results use Cera Silence DPM Poly sheets and perimeter side strips.
Impacta™ CeraZorb is a synthetic Cork Underlayment for use under Ceramic Tile & Natural Stone Flooring. Many years of research & testing went into CeraZorb and we feel it is the next generation in cork technology. CeraZorb will not rot, swell or absorb water and has achieved the same acoustic impact insulation ratings as 1/2" natural cork at about half the cost. CeraZorb is lightweight only 40 lbs per roll and is available in 4' x 100' rolls.
Impacta™ Superfloor carpet underlayment pad is a premium carpet pad designed to reduce footfall noise under carpet. Superfloor underlayment has been used worldwide for over 20 years in helping reduce impact noise and extend the life time of the floor covering.
Paladin acoustic underlayment is a thinner version of the Redupax model.
Paladin is only 4mm thick and is available in packages of 135 sf. Paladin underlay is economically priced and readily available. Paladin is made from FSC certified compressed wood fibers and offers better acoustical performance over similar priced foams, felts, rubber or natural cork underlayments.
Paladin Floor underlayment is lightweight and easily installed under floated or
multi-ply engineered hardwood or solid hardwood flooring.
Sound Quality® Noise Barrier by Sound Seal® is designed to stop the passage of sound through walls, ceilings and floors. Typical improvement of 10 to 15 dB(A) in wall, ceiling and plenum construction.
Industrial™ Pipe & Duct Wraps are mass loaded noise barriers with a reinforced foil facing on one side that allows for installation of matching lag tape. Pipe & Duct Wrap Lag is available with a 1" or 2" quilted fiberglass decoupler. Standard rolls are 4' wide x 30' long. Typical used to wrap noisy pipes and ducts to block the noise that transmits through the walls of the pipe or duct as air or other contents move through it as well as to increase the sound absorption in the cavity. It also provides sound absorption and thermal insulation around the pipe or ductwork. The 2" thick quilted fiberglass absorber improves low frequency acoustical performance. Use to wrap noisy pipes, ducts, valves, and fan housing.
Industrial™ Sound Proofing Acoustical Curtain Enclosures are available as complete, partial, or portable enclosures. Industrial sound enclosure options include sliding door panels, view windows, strip doors, air intake and exhaust ventilation baffles, partial or full roof panel systems, and corner strips among many others. Industrial sound proofing enclosures and sound proofing screens are available in models BBC or BSC composites panels and may be supported from our standard track and hardware systems or our heavy duty structural steel systems.
