Fire Curtains are designed as a fire and smoke barrier, separating the stage house and the auditorium. In case of a fire on stage the fire curtain will automatically close, providing the theater patrons extra time to safely leave the theater. Local building codes do vary, requiring different levels or types of fire protection. Please consult your local Fire Marshal and building codes to determine the system required. No obstructions should ever be placed in the proscenium opening that would prevent the fire curtain from lowering.

SECOA’s standard composite construction panel is an exceptional panel for use as an auditorium ceiling panel, or we can build a custom panel to meet your specs. These panels can be configured and hung to meet any layout requirements. Acoustics in the house can be adjusted by the hanging angle of the auditorium panels.
SECOA’s manufacturing capabilities include a full line of accessories such as stairs, handrails, guardrails, chairstops, storage carts, legs, and understructures. Manufacturing in house allows SECOA to customize any of our staging products to meet your specific requirements. Orchestra pit fillers are a flexible solution for theaters with a fixed height orchestra pit. SECOA pit fillers can be designed for fixed heights or variable heights depending upon support system needs allowing an even greater amount of flexibility.

Modular Tension Wire Grids - Tension wire grids are a safe and resilient walking surface to access lighting equipment. The wire grids consist of a suspended steel frame with wire rope woven in an over-and-under pattern to create a two inch mesh that is light-transparent.
Pipe Grids - Pipe grids are a great choice for black box theaters, practice rooms, experimental theaters, TV studios, and other similar venues to hang scenery, lighting equipment, and curtains in a facility with limited ceiling height. A pipe grid is a series of pipes, crossing at perpendicular angles, and deadhung from the buildings structure.

Acoustical curtains can include: house curtains to minimize sound reflection and reverberation (both side and rear), and orchestra pit acoustical / masking curtain.
SECOA also manufactures acoustic pull up panels that can be located in the theater house and used for adjustment of acoustical response and for decoration.
SECOA provides curtain track systems for our customers to meet all ranges of requirements. From main curtains, to acoustical curtains SECOA has a track system and knowledge to fulfill your needs. SECOA stocks a full line of tracks and track hardware. Curtain tracks should be selected based upon the function, weight, and length of the curtain being hung.
