Mar-flex Waterproofing & Building Products
Overview: For over 20 years, Marflex has helped make basements safer and drier with waterproofing systems and basement products for lower level living. We manufacture premium products for commercial, multi-family and residential construction — and our research labs continuously develop new solutions to keep pace with changing codes, regulations and markets.
It can also be used in horizontal applications such as parking garages, bridge decks, and plaza decking. And because it's water-based, ProVention 363 is VOC-free. Marflex ProVention 363 is a field-tested and proven membrane for commercial applications., with permanent elasticity that enables it to move with a flexing structure. Marflex ProVention 363 is a water-based coating that will not become brittle, evaporate, lose its flexibility or its waterproofing ability. It resists freeze-thaw cycles, and comes in 5-gallon buckets and 55-gallon drums.
It is recommended for dampproofing below-grade, vertical foundation walls of poured concrete or unit masonry construction. It can also serve as an above-grade vapor retardant on the exterior face of interior masonry cavity walls. MoistureBlock 361 forms a smooth, tough, almost rubber-like film when dry and has moderately good resistance to temperature changes. It has excellent weather tolerance, resists water penetration, and is compatible with all Marflex drainage boards. In addition, it excels as a utility coating on posts, pilings and other metal surfaces set into the ground. MoistureBlock 361 is available in 5-gallon buckets and 55-gallon drums.

[ - ] Green Waterproofing SolutionsMarflex AIR Barrier 1200 VP is designed to control air leakage and air flow through a building to reduce moisture, improve indoor air quality and increase energy efficiency. Marflex AIR Barrier 1200 VP is vapor permeable, acts as an air and rain barrier, can be positioned anywhere in a wall assembly, and offers vapor permeance greater than 12.0 perms.
Drain & Dry fiber drainage board delivers the water-channeling and insulation stats that have made it one of the top drain boards for foundation walls. Drain & Dry is made of sand, post-consumer recycled glass, and a proprietary ECOSE(tm) Technology binder that contains no petroleum-based chemicals. That’s why it’s brown in color.

FUSION UV is 100% acrylic and UV-resistant -- so it stands up to sunshine and doesn't break down like asphalt-based membranes. It's also gray in color, so it can be applied above-grade, to the top of the sill plate, without worry that the membrane might show above the backfill line.
[ - ] Residential DamproofingMarflex DampFUSION is an excellent acrylic damp proofing membrane approved for masonry, block, pre-cast and poured concrete wall foundations.
DampFUSION is also an excellent above-grade vapor retardant on the exterior face of interior masonry cavity walls to stop water vapor and protect against leaks. DampFUSION is a spray-on membrane, so it dries as a seamless, monolithic coating. It can be applied to pre-existing damp walls and the top of the foundation wall. DampFUSION has no odor and will dry to a gray color to blend with the color of concrete.

ShockWave drainage board gulps up to 101.11 gallons per hour per linear foot of groundwater to eliminate any possibility of hydrostatic pressure.
New Drain & Dry fiber drainage board delivers the water-channeling and insulation stats that have made it one of the top drain boards for foundation walls. But its new brown color means it's green and exceptionally LEED(r) friendly, too.

LifeLines Emergency Exit Window Wells are made of high-quality, roto-molded HDPE in three designer colors (white, sandstone, granite) to coordinate with Marflex LandScapes Window Wells. Optional clear window well covers, high-grade metal grates, mid mounts, and templates are also available.

When placed 10’ to 15’ apart in pre-planned locations (such as windows and beam pockets, or in areas that are already weakened), the “V” shaped, reusable plastic extrusions create vertical control joints on both sides of a foundation wall, putting you in control of where the cracks will occur.

QuickFoam Fine Urethane is a 2-Part hydrophobic polyurethane liquid with a 600 cps, best suited for hairline cracks and larger. Once introduced to water, a built-in catalyst reacts to form a closed-cell barrier that prevents water penetration. QuickFoam Broad Urethane is a 1-Part hydrophilic polyurethane liquid with a 100 cps, best suited for cracks that are 1/8” or wider and actively leaking. When mixed with water, the product reacts within 30 seconds to create a closed-cell barrier that prevents water penetration.
[ - ] Waterproofing Spray Equipment
Designed for simple installation in a variety of vehicle configurations, the Marflex WaterKat and Marflex SpaceSaver spray units are turnkey systems. Each package contains the equipment and supplies necessary to start waterproofing immediately. The only thing left to choose is which membrane, drainage board and drain tile you'll use.
