Custom® Building Products NEW<BR>SpiderWeb Uncoupling Mat<BR><BR>

SpiderWeb™ Uncoupling Mat is a waterproof, vaporproof uncoupling membrane that can be used for crack-suppression in most tile, porcelain or natural stone installations, and can be applied over challenging substrates such as installation over green concrete (young) and single ply 19.2" (49 cm) supported floors. SpiderWeb is designed differently than bonded membranes, with a sacrificial layer of fabric that shears away, or "uncouples", when exposed to excessive substrate movement, absorbing stress and preserving the surface and integrity of the tile. SpiderWeb's mesh layer has reinforced strands which lock mortar into the mat, ensuring strong, reliable installations.

These products include latex Portand cement motors such as MegaLite® Crack Prevention Mortar and MegaFlex Crack Prevention Mortar; medium bed mortar such as Complete Contact® for installing natural stone or large modular tile; rapid setting motars for time-critical commercial installations; specialty mortars to meet specific job needs; and Custom's proven line of dry set (unmodified) mortars and additives.

The 30,000 square -foot dealership is themed as a tribute to the American Flag. The porcelain tile floor is designed with 13 stripes, just like the flag, and the entrance is defined by a circle of stars. The 12" x 12" tile was set with VersaBond® Flex Fortified Thin-Set Mortar.
