Foamfrax® Insulation, an advanced high temperature technology for furnace lining applications provides fast installation, exceptional fuel and energy savings, and overall cost savings. As an effective alternative to traditional modules/blankets, Foamfrax Insulation offers installation speed and lining performance for furnace linings, lining over refractory and furnace lining maintenance and repairs, patches, and refits.Foamfrax Insulation's patented foam/fiber mixture forms an interlocking network of fibers that creates a monolithic structure with excellent thermal insulating properties, low heat storage and excellent resistance to thermal shock and chemical attack.

Grade III Insulation

Foamfrax® Foamfrax® Grade III Insulation is a blend of Fibermax® polycrystalline mullite fibers and high-purity refractory ceramic fibers installed using the unique Foamfrax process. Foamfrax Grade III can be isntalled as a veneer over existing refractory or fiber linings. In addition, the product can be installed as a full-thickness lining system. When used in conjunction with either Foamfrax Grade I or Grade II fibers as a composite lining system, Foamfrax Grade III Insulation offers an economical lining that can be installed in a wide range of furnaces and vessels.

Foamfrax® RG (Refractory Grade) Insulation

Foamfrax® Foamfrax® RG (Refractory Grade) Insulation is an extension of the Foamfrax Insulation product line. Foamfrax RG Insulation is a combination of refractory ceramic fiber, refractory cement, and a high-temperature binder solution combined in the field using the proprietary Foamfrax process. The resultant product form is a high-density, ceramic fiber based material engineered for refractory backup lining applications. Foamfrax RG can be easily gunned around a variety of refractory anchor systems and air sets within 8-16 hours. Traditional refractory materials (castables, plastic and brick) may be installed over Foamfrax RG once the product air sets.

Foamfrax® HD Insulation

Foamfrax® Foamfrax® HD Insulation is a four-component system of specially conditioned bulk ceramic fibers, an inorganic binder, an organic foaming binder, and a clay additive. Foamfrax HD Insulation is available in three fiber grades and is easily installed.
