The original wedi Building Panel is engineered as a general purpose underlayment for tile with special added benefits that reflect a unique blend of traditional values for tilebackers: solid, sturdy and with a perfected cementbased resin surface for unmatched bond quality that can be achieved with any type of thinset mortar. But wedi has added state-of-the-art technology and the full experience that comes with more than 28 years of building panel manufacturing resulting in added benefits such as it’s internal waterproofness and zero capillarity; the ease of working or fabricating with the lightest building panel in a class of heavy duty use backerboards for tile; the dependable cement-base resin coating and fiberglass mesh for strength and durable bond. Unlike other foam boards in the market today, the wedi Building Panel cannot delaminate and is free of paper or cellulose layers and does not ignite or fuel fire. Unlike EPS (expanded polystyrene) foam boards, wedi Building Panels will not absorb water nor does it need additional waterproofing.

boards for backing tub and shower walls. This complete kit is fast and safe to install, eliminates potential scratching as may
occur with cement boards and provides long term prevention of water damage, mold or mildew in the installation.
Waterproof, thin-layer, crack isolating sealing mat made from highly tear-resistant polyethylene film, which offers optimum
connection to tile laying materials thanks to its dual-sided special fleece lamination. The installation over preexisting wall
surfaces is smooth and any thinset suitable for the tile or stone finish may be used on top of the wedi system. The wedi
Subliner Dry System includes wedi sealing tape, prefabricated corner tape and plumbing fixture collars.
wedi Subliner Dry is well suited for fixed-date building sites where quick sealing measures over preexisting wall panels
over substrates is needed. Use Subliner Dry in combination with ceramic tiles, slabs, and natural cast tiles for indoor wall
and floor areas.
Tension-reducing, heavy-duty web made from a strong fabric sheathing, which offers optimum connection to tile laying
materials thanks to its dual-sided special fleece lamination. It decouples tiled surface finish from the subfloor by eliminating
direct contact between the tile and the subfloor through the tile adhesive. Subliner Flex can bridge cracks without resulting in
a floating floor application as no layer or mesh will separate from product under stress rendition.
A peel and stick flexible underlayment with integral waterproofing, PE layer, anti-fracture and sound reducing
characteristics. The underlayment is made from highly tear-resistant nonwoven polypropylene material with rubberized
asphaltic, pressure sensitive adhesive layer, which offers optimum connection to tile laying materials thanks to its special
fleece lamination. For quick sealing measures for fixed-date building sites in combination with ceramic tiles and slabs as
well as with natural cast tiles for indoor and outdoor floor areas. The special underlayment provides improved tension
compensation during abrupt temperature changes. wedi® Subliner Dry & Flex PRO is 100% waterproof and will effectively
protect the subfloor from moisture damage and cracks due to movement. It was successfully tested and exceeded criteria
according to ANSI A118.12. It is tested to isolate cracks over and up to 3/8“— far exceeding the minimum capabilities
of regular crack isolation membranes. The Subliner Dry & Flex Pro System includes sealing strips for any waterproofing or
exterior application as well as a primer to prepare surfaces prior to installation.

wedi Liquid Vapor Barrier AEA-VBC-500 is for wedi applications in residential and commercial steam room installations. It is formulated to protect wall construction against and eliminate aggressive vapor diffusion and migration through wall or ceiling assemblies. Where conventional waterproofing systems are not sufficient, our vapor-proofing membranes applied as a liquid is used extensively in the construction industry. Our proprietary vapor barrier coating copolymer latex is recommended to be applied by brush, roller, trowel, or spray. Application typically consists of two layers; one applied to 90 degrees to the other to eliminate voids that would allow moisture penetration. Dry thickness is approximately 1/16”. Cure is by evaporation. Once cured, our product offers excellent flexibility and water vapor resistance, as well as a good bond surface for tile and stone installation. Due to its tenacious bond and self-healing (pinholes) and leveling capability over challenging surfaces, wedi Liquid Vapor Barrier AEA-VBC-500 is excellent for irregular surfaces, vertical surfaces, and ceilings.

wedi Joint Sealant is a variety component, modified polyurethane that chemically reacts with moisture to deliver strong, flexible and tenacious bonds to variety of surfaces. The product forms water-tight, weather resistant seals on joints and seams. Its flexibility allows for dissipation of stress caused by shock, vibration, or thermal movement. It is of high viscosity and exhibits excellent non-sag properties.
The wedi Primer PRO AEA-PMR-6152 is a water-based, non-VOC, protective coating that is used as a primer for surfaces
such as cement or wood-based surfaces to provide an adhesion-friendly surface for wedi Subliner Dry & Flex Pro Membrane
systems. It dries to a tacky (to the touch) in about 30 to 40 minutes. It can be applied via paint brush or short nap roller.
