Quiet Walk
| Our laminate floor underlayment smoothes out little subfloor imperfections while quieting impact sound and floor to ceiling noise. Not only does it dampen ambient sound in the room it’s installed in, but it also inhibits sound from traveling into the room below. Although it is promoted as an upgrade underlayment taking the place of poly foam, it doesn’t carry a heavy upgrade price when compared to cork or rubber. |

QuietWarmth®
QuietWarmth® is a new and exciting product from the manufacturers of QuietWalk® underlayment. We’ve taken our acoustical and insulating technology and combined them with ThermoSoft FiberThermics® heating elements to create a radiant heat system ideally suited for floating wood, laminate floors, Avaire Porcelain and SnapStone® tiles. QuietWarmth® not only deadens impact sound from your hard surface flooring, but it also makes the surface toasty warm, and assists with heating your room.

FiberBacker
FiberBacker for ceramic or porcelain tile floors. For ceramic tile use latex modified thin set mortar both below and above the FiberBacker. The sub-floor and installation materials must be in accordance with industry standards as outlined by the National Wood Flooring Association for wood floor applications, the Tile Council of America for ceramic and porcelain tile and natural stone applications.
The randomly air-laid filaments create a capillary affect to cushion the floor and absorb impact sound. The 1/8” thickness helps smooth out little subfloor imperfections.
