Atlantic’s Raised Panel shutters are built one at a time, to your specifications, so the choices are only limited by your imagination. Whether you select the ever-popular two panel design or one of the other styles shown, we have the shutters you want.
With today’s eclectic style of homes, architects and homeowners have a need for an even broader range of exterior window treatment options. Atlantic meets those needs with Combination style shutters. Our most popular Combination shutter style is shown, but a number of options allows you to use your creativity. You can mix and match elements of our Raised Panel and Louvered Colonial shutters to design your own uniquely personalized shutter detailing.
Atlantic’s Bahama shutters have been a long-time favorite of coastal / tropical areas and desert communities with their beautiful architectural style. The authentic Caribbean styling allows cool breezes and soft diffused light to pass through. These shutters also offer privacy, comfort, and protection from the detrimental effects of the baking sun on floors, furniture and draperies. Bahama shutters are hand assembled entirely from thermally stable, pultruded fiberglass. To preserve the aesthetic integrity of its clean lines, no unsightly mechanical fasteners are used in construction.
The Classic Collection was developed and designed over five years ago around a modern,
solid core composite material. These traditionally styled shutters use the latest technology, are
maintenance free and can be installed as either operable or fixed shutters. They are offered in the
most common styles with selected options and provide an added level of distinction to any home.
These Raised Panel style shutters are the perfect accent for homeowners who want to add a level of distinction to their home with the timeless, classic design of raised panel shutters. These shutters are available in the most common styles and a wide range of sizes with the options shown below.
These Faux Louver style shutters use a unique patented process that provides the detailed, up close appearance of authentic open louver shutters. These shutters are available in a wide range of sizes.
Hand-assembled from exterior-grade composite wood components that will not rot, crack or split. These shutters are factory-primed only and ready to receive any bold color with a high-quality exterior paint of your choice.
Design details complete the front and back of each shutter, with four handsome styles available: Louver, Raised Panel, Flat Panel and Board and Batten. Corners and joints are true and square with tongue and groove construction that provides superior strength. Our specially-formulated adhesive allows clean construction with no unsightly fasteners.
Each ProSeries shutter is machine-sanded and finished with a single coat of marine-grade primer, significantly reducing your time in applying a finish coat of paint. Shutters need only be scuffed with fine 320 grit sandpaper prior to receiving the finish paint coat. Versatile ProSeries shutters can be specified to correct window scale or sized as desired. Widths are available from 12" to 24" in half-inch increments; heights from 30" to 84" in half-inch increments. Quarter Round Arch Tops are also available. ProSeries shutters may be installed in fixed or operable applications.

For romantic, one-of-a-kind style, Standard and Custom Cut-out options are available on our Raised Panel, Combination and Board and Batten style shutters. These character-enhancing shapes help showcase a homeowner’s passion for life. Our nine Standard Cut-outs range from nautical and nature motifs to lighthearted shapes, including Anchors, Stars, Palm Trees and Hearts. We can make virtually any type of custom designed cut-out. An exact drawing or template of the custom cut-out design is required.
For extreme functionality and protection for coastal homes at risk from storms, both Architectural and Classic Collection shutter designs are available in hurricane storm-rated versions (Does not apply to arch and radius top shutters).
A 1/8" thick polycarbonate panel is permanently attached to the back of each shutter, remaining hidden when shutters are in the open position, and facing outward for impact protection when shutters are in the closed position.
Strong aluminum storm bars are used to secure the shutters closed in Horizontal (dual bar) exterior or interior Storm Bar Systems. Each of our three storm-rated shutter systems meet impact testing requirements as specified in the IRC and IBC 2006; our Bahama Systems also meet the State of Florida Building Code 2006.
Shutters are mounted with historically correct operable hardware. Unlike “fixed mounted” shutters, this hardware sets the shutter off from the house and allows the shutter to be closed within the window frame. This adds dimension and an elegant accent to your home. This hardware is forged from 304 series stainless steel and has a matte black powder coated finish. Bahama style shutters are mounted with aluminum hardware available in a mill or powder-coated finish.
