If a standard design does not meet your special needs, we can
custom build your seating to meet your exact requirements. All of
our products offer outstanding quality at a very competitive price.
Our permanent grandstands are custom built to the requirements of your specific application taking into consideration the desired seating capacity, sightlines, spectator flow, applicable building codes, and available space. We offer two different understructure designs: Clear-span, I-beam structures or angle frame structures. The Clear-span, I-beam structures are fabricated from wide flange steel shapes, hot-dipped galvanized after fabrication, and anchored to concrete foundations. These structures offer the most flexibility in design and can be easily adapted to accommodate varying sight conditions such as hillsides or uneven terrain. The angle frame structures are available in galvanized steel or aluminum angle and require a level site. The angle frame structures are either attached to a concrete foundation or can be anchored using earth anchors. On either the I-beam or angle frame structures, the seating/decking is constructed of extruded aluminum. This combination of galvanized steel and extruded aluminum results in years of maintenance-free service. Many design options exist for the grandstands regarding rise/tread dimensions, decking choices, and exit requirements. GT Grandstands offers a wide range of aluminum seating for concrete stadium applications or stadium renovations. For concrete stadium applications we offer flat or contoured bench seating. For additional comfort, a back rest can be provided. Also, we have aluminum stadium chair seating. All of the seating products are available with a clear anodized or a power coated finish to match your team colors. Finally, we offer standard aluminum planking which can be used to replace existing wood planking or added to provide additional closure for increased safety.
The structures are pre-manufactured and pre-wired and shipped ready for immediate use. The standard depth is 8' with standard widths in increments of 6' beginning with a minimum width of 12'. Custom sizes are available by request. Press box framing is either conventional wood framing or metal stud framing. Exterior siding is either vertical vinyl or steel rib. There are many optional features such as camera decks for filming, security shutters, and interior trim.
Surface-mount (Portable) and In ground mount (Permanent) styles are available with and without back rests. Standard lengths are 7'-6", 15' and 21'. Custom lengths are available by request.
