Telling Industries owns three manufacturing facilities located in Ohio, North Carolina and Arkansas. Each location has state of the art roll forming and metal processing equipment. All roll-forming equipment is operated and maintained by skilled personnel.

Drywall Framing

The traditional drywall framing from Telling is available in a variety of web sizes and gauges. Our interior stud & track, as well as our angles, are knurled on the flanges.. This knurling offers speedy metal-to-metal and sheeting attachments and helps prevent screws riding or walking. We also have the ability to provide custom lengths, special packaging and markings upon request. Whatever the application and wherever the code, Telling has the right part for the job.

C-T Shaftwall Framing Components
|
|
|

The two primary framing components in Shaftwall framing is the liner board (Example: DensGlass Ultra Shaftliner) and C-T Studs and J tracks, manufactured by Telling™ Industries from galvanized steel that meets the requirements of ASTM A 653 and A 924.
The 2-1/2” steel framing system retains the popular 3-1/2” wall thickness with a two-hour fire rating to accommodate standard door framing dimensions. The Series 620 stud offers a unique feature — slotting in the web of the stud. Tests have demonstrated that these slots effectively improve resistance to thermal and noise transmissions.
The 2-1/2” stud provides a 1-1/2” air cavity for services. Studs are friction-fitted between top and bottom J- tracks. Use J tracks for all closure details, including duct and door openings, abutments, intersections, etc. No other special metal components are required.

Telling Industries is proud to manufacture one of the finest and most well known Area Separation Wall framing components. Telling™ H-Stud and C-Track framing members are manufactured in strict accordance to Georgia Pacific specifications for raw materials, shape and quality controls. The area separation wall framing manufactured by Telling Industries is identical to those used in testing G-P Area Separation Wall Systems and many more generic assemblies listed in the Gypsum Association’s GA-600.
