Sun-Dome Tubular Skylights are a no non-sense, Dade County Hurricane Tested and approved energy effective tubular daylighting device with a solid .040 aluminum (rust proof) flashing in 4 slopes to match roof pitch for optimum capture of sun-light. Alanod aluminum tubes (98% reflectance) bring in natural light all day long, whether the sun is at high noon or at the horizon. Our polycarbonate domes are UV treated so no damaging heat rays are transferred and our tubing (warranted for 25 years) will not delaminate. LEED credits are applicable with Sun-Dome Tubular Skylights.

Commercial: school, warehouse, office, park restroom, recreational facility, retail store, supermarket, industrial site, medical and manufacturing site. Residential: all rooms in the home, assisted living facility, modular home, and apartment.

Features
Flashings match 4 roof slopes (flat, low, medium, and high pitch) for optimum light capture. Select diffusers for open and closed ceilings in prismatic or white translucent. Eclypse light dimmer controls lighting. Round to square troffers fit suspended ceilings.

HERE’S HOW IT WORKS
A clear, unbreakable polycarbonate dome mounted on a storm-tested, aluminum flashing on the roof collects and directs sunlight down into the area below through a high-performance reflective transfer tube. This tube connects to a domed translucent or prismatic diffuser that distributes natural light evenly throughout the area without heat gain or loss.

Sun-Dome by Daylighting Technologies <B>NEW</B> Prismatic Diffuser<BR><BR>

This device is designed for easy installation in commercial applications into open areas. As the unit may now be lowered directly into the flashing barrel from the roof there is no longer a need to access the inside of the building to attach the diffuser as it is now fastened at the bottom tube with (6) sheet metal screws through the collar into the pipe.

This new design is less labor intensive as well as cost-effective for an installer. It takes less time to install, saves on equipment expense (ie. tall ladders, platform scaffolds) and reduces liability exposures.
