Founded in 2003, Kleer products first entered the marketplace in early 2005, and quickly gained a reputation as being the highest quality Free Foam PVC Trimboard on the market today.
Manufactured in a modern 80,000 square foot facility in Westfield MA, Kleer™ products are extruded from only the finest grade PVC resins and other polymers, ensuring a level of consistency and durability that is unmatched in the industry. Kleer™ is expanded, rigid cellular, white PVC superior to wood in virtually any non stress bearing application. It has been developed with a small-cell microstructure and with a density similar to white pine. Kleer™ has a unique and unparralled range of physical properties, with a texture and uniformity that make it the next generation of exterior trim. Kleer™ looks and feels like wood, while addressing most of the common problems associated with exterior applications of wood.

Kleer Lumber LLC stocks a wide variety of extruded PVC mouldings to compliment our PVC boards and sheets. These patterns, used individually or in combination, should cover most any traditional interior or exterior trim application encountered.

Kleer™ can be nailed just like wood. Hand nailing or power nailing is acceptable. Nails should have sufficient tensile strength in the shaft to resist bending during seasonal movement (a 6,7 or 8D nail is recommended). As a general rule of thumb if you can bend the nail with your bare hands then the material will also be able to bend it causing excessive expansion and contraction. For best results, a selection of smooth shank, screw, annular threaded or spiral type nails that are stainless steel are recommended. Hot dip galvanized nails may also be used if the nails are to be set and the nail holes filled. If a hot dip galvanized nail is not covered it may cause staining of the material. Standard nails that are not protected from rusting will also cause staining on the material.

Kleer recommends the Bond&Fill® family of products that are specially formulated to fill nail holes, seams, gaps and dents in PVC trimboard. Bond&Fill® FOR PAINTERS™ is a non-structural filler that cures within 24 hours, is sandable, paintable and requires no primer.
