Architectural Concrete
Imprinted Concrete		click to enlarge Bomanite/Bomacron is a cast in place concrete, poured to the same specifications and guidelines as plain concrete, but is colored and imprinted creating a variety of looks and textures that can imitate other materials such as brick, slate, or stone. Bomanite/Bomacron may be colored using a surface color hardener or may be integrally colored throughout. 25 standard colors are available with the availability to blend unlimited custom colors as needed. Bomanite/Bomacron may be imprinted using one of many standard patterns or custom patterns may be created to accommodate any design specification. Chemical Stains		click to enlarge Bomanite Chemical Stains are water and acid solutions of metallic salts formulated to “Color Etch” new or existing concrete surfaces. These penetrating solutions react with cements to form varying colors. Bomanite Chemical Stains produce a mottling of color tones that are directly affected by the substrate. Variations and inconsistencies in color are to be expected and are usually the reason for using this application. All chemical stain applications are sealed and waxed for protection and longevity. Chemical Stain Advantages: Appropriate for both commercial & residential applications Can be used with existing new or existing concrete Creates a unique motteling of color Can be applied to smooth and textured or patterned surfaces
Micro-Top Overlays		click to enlarge Micro-Top by Bomanite is a unique liquid polymer and powdered cement combination. Micro-Top will bond to any stable, structurally sound substrate. Micro-Top is colored with your choice of custom colors. Micro-Top is applied using hand trowling techniques that create a marbled effect. Micro-Top is typically installed at a thickness of 20 mils, the thickness of a credit card. Micro-Top is sealed and waxed for protection and longevity. Micro-Top Advantages: Appropriate for both commercial & residential applications Can be applied to horizontal and vertical surfaces Non Toxic Can be used for logos and other art work Can be used with existing substrates Wide selection of colors available
Thin-Set Overlays		click to enlarge Bomanite Thin-Set is a specially formulated polymer modified topping that will bond to any stable, structurally sound substrate. Thin-Set is colored using your choice of standard or custom integral colors. Thin-Set can be stamped using most patterns and textures. Thin-Set is typically installed at a thickness range of ¼ ” – 1” thick. Counter Tops		click to enlarge All of our countertops are cast using a specially designed concrete, and are reinforced to provide strength and durability and attempt to minimize cracking. Cracks are possible. Hairline cracks do not affect the structural integrity of the concrete and generally add character to your countertop.
