Cubicles Plus Inc. is a privately owned corporation in Minneapolis Minn.
Founded in 2000, it operates two business divisions: The Building Products
Division and The Office and Facilities Management Division.
The Building Products Division designs and develops products for the building
industry with a focus on solutions to help architects, specifiers, contractors,
code officials, and owners meet safety and fire codes. We also solve issues
for IC ratings, Sound ratings, Smoke ratings, Vapor Barrier ratings and Air Tight
needs. We are not product specific, therefore our range and scope of use is limitless
when it comes to applications we can help with. We currently market and sell our
products under two offerings:

The Office and Facilities Management Division provides a “total toolbox” of furniture
and facilities management solutions for small and medium-sized companies. These
products and services include:
Office furniture, delivery and installation
Space planning and design
Tenant improvement, facilities management and project management services
For customers who need voice and data cabling, floor and wall coverings, build-outs,
demolition work, general construction, electrical improvements, sound masking,
and other building improvements.
EZ Barrier also provides custom-designed solutions for specific problems within the
building industry.

Building one box can take up to an hour, which can quickly add up to hundreds of labor hours in a typical building.

The e.z. barrier exhaust fan/light enclosure makes it easy for architects, specifiers, and installers to maintain the integrity of fire-rated ceilings for one-hour when penetrated by an exhaust fan or fan/light combination.
The e.z. barrier recessed light cover is a box manufactured of 24 GA galvanized sheet metal having nominal external dimensions of 24 in. long x 16 in. wide x 9-1/2 in. deep and nominal internal dimensions of 20-1/8 in. long x 12 in. wide x 9-1/2 deep. The box is designed to fit over recessed can lights placed in ceilings between floor trusses, and is secured to the floor framing prior to the application of the gypsum wallboard ceiling. For use in wood truss floor/ceiling assemblies built in accordance with many L500 designs with the following provisions:
Max. 2 fixtures within 36 sq. ft. area.
Min. o.c. fixture spacing of 24 in. within same truss cavity.
Min. center-to-center fixture spacing of 34 in. for adjacent truss cavities
The new e.z. barrier enclosure for in-wall speakers is easy to install, reducing unnecessary labor and material costs while diminishing the transfer of sound from one room to another. It also maintains the integrity of a fire-rated wall for one hour.
