Overview:
IceStone® durable surfaces are a non-toxic concrete product and a sustainable alternative to mined or engineered stones. All IceStone durable surfaces are manufactured in the USA. Production of IceStone durable surfaces has diverted millions of pounds of glass from the waste stream and created new manufacturing jobs in New York City, where the facility and headquarters are based. IceStone is currently the only durable surface to achieve Cradle to Cradle ™ Gold, a comprehensive third-party certification that evaluates the sustainability of a product and the practices employed in manufacturing the product.

IceStone®
|
IceStone is made with 100% recycled glass in a cement matrix to create a sustainable concrete surface. Each slab is pre-cast and measures 52.5” wide by 96” long by 1.25” thick. There are no resins or petrochemical binders in IceStone durable surfaces; IceStone is porous and must be properly sealed and waxed to prevent staining and etching. The fabrication and installation of IceStone durable surfaces is similar to that of natural stones. Applications of IceStone include countertops, bathroom vanities, tabletops, reception and transaction areas, and other applications where mined or engineered stones are used.
