Overview:
One of the first roofing materials manufacturers to
recognize the benefi ts of commercial daylighting,
Carlisle SynTec now offers Drylight – a fully
encapsulated skylight glazing system designed
to provide premium energy savings for
commercial buildings.
Why Daylighting?
Commercial daylighting saves building owners money,
and provides numerous additional benefits:
- Reduces operating costs by minimizing the use
of electrical lighting
- Reduces electrical loads during peak times,
when utility rates may increase
- Studies have shown that daylighting increases
productivity in the workplace, improves learning
in schools, and increases purchasing by 5-8%
in retail stores.
Why Drylight?
Carlisle’s Drylight takes advantage of all daylighting benefits
while avoiding the headaches associated with traditional
multi-component skylights.
- Fully encapsulated technology, new to the
commercial skylight industry
- Full encapsulation has been a proven technology
in the auto and aeronautics industries for more
than 20 years
- Full encapsulation creates a watertight bond
between the frame and dome
- Components that expand and contract
simultaneously, eliminating stress fractures
- Superior thermal performance
- Inclusion in Carlisle’s 10- and 20-year
total system warranties
