CASTinTACT® 3
|
Cementitious concrete panels offer dimensional stability and compatibility to concrete; same co-efficient of expansion as base. Superior strength, durability and abrasion resistance achieved with an engineered mix design.
Microsilica enhanced to increase compressive strength and reduce permeability to chloride ion intrusion; resists severe exposure to wet freeze thaw damage and de-icing chemicals.
Three dimensional reinforced with fibrillating monofilament fibers to increase flexural strength, ductility and toughness. Panels resist warping under temperature extremes and cracking under heavy loads.
Panels are architectural finished to enhance concrete work. Full depth UV and weather proof integral colors provide long term visual contrast. Textured concrete finish for wet and dry slip resistance.
CASTinTACT® 3 panels are uniquely installed in a patented early entry-fast set method that takes 10 minutes. Panels are recessed flush to surface and bond to concrete base becoming a integral and permanent part of the walking surface. Because they are concrete, they offer long term durability, compatibility, same coefficient of expansion as the concrete base, and easy to clean, maintain and repair.

CASTinTACT® 3 panels comply with ADAAG visual contrast requirements of light-on-dark or dark-on-light with inert synthetic iron oxide pigments meeting ASTM C979 - Standard Specification for Pigments for Integrally Colored Concrete.

CASTinTACT® 3 cementitious concrete panels can be repaired fast and easy without replacing the entire ramp.
REPAIRaTACT™ tool with diamond bit for use
with gas or electric drill unit.
Place drill bit on dome to be repaired. Foot plate will line up on adjacent domes. Core through concrete panel into substrate approximately 2" and remove core.
Grout replacement plug with polymer modified repair mortar; colored to match panel. Foot plate can be used to help center and align.
