Tufftec® Lockers are also available in 100% post-consumer material for those who desire the ultimate in green building products. 2.0 Lockers use a blend of virgin and post-industrial plastic to produce a quality product while at the same time reducing industrial waste. The use of Scranton Products’solid HDPE plastic products can potentially contribute to LEED points in specific categories. Tufftec® 2.0 Lockers are also available in 100% post-consumer material for those who desire the ultimate in green building products.
The result, lockers that are far more resistant to denting than metal, wood, or phenolic lockers - doors are 1/2” thick! Lockers that are rustproof, too, because all panels and joints are one hundred percent plastic. They are also far more resistant to other types of corrosion, mildew, odors, stains and graffiti. TuffTec™ Lockers are not susceptible to delamination because the sides, tops, bottoms, backs, shelves and doors are all solid plastic HDPE.
