Established in 1948, HMI Cardinal manufactures a family of glass and metal products in our range of brands. Cardinal Shower Enclosures is the industry’s largest domestic manufacturer of shower enclosures, premium cast glass and tempered glass. From one-off custom units to the largest resort projects we've got you covered. Under the Cardinal Commercial Products (CCP) brand we manufacture a complete line of storefront, curtain wall and entrance doors, with thermally broken systems, fire rated glass, fabricated or stock lengths, as well as the unique ability to powder-coat in-house. We control the entire process from “Design to Delivery” in house to ensure that we provide you with unmatched quality and service. Our extensive range of products can meet all your needs for shower enclosures, glass railing and dividers, cast art glass, bar tops, commercial entrance doors, storefronts and more. We are driven to be the source for innovative new products like our Ultimate Optique which combines cast glass and optically clear glass in the same panel.
HMI Cardinal is the only company that fabricates, casts and tempers premium art glass in house. This allows us to meet our customer’s strict installation and scheduling requirements. We manufacture our products in our centrally located 280,000 sq. ft. facility using only the state of the art fabrication and tempering equipment. Our quality is unmatched with consistently 95% fewer issues than the industry standard, helping your product arrive complete, correct and on time, every time.

Cardinal Shower Enclosures is a nationwide shower enclosure supplier. Our 160,000 s.f. manufacturing facility in Louisville, KY, houses our shower and glass production facilities, a full tempering oven, kilns, and a complete powder-coat line. We do it ALL in-house. If you need 300 cast enclosures for your resort, we can provide you what you need, complete, correct, on time, every time.
Note: "Krystal" patterns shown below are made with optically clear glass similar to Starphire. Other patterns are made from the same slightly green Clear glass.

The Advantages Are Tremendous
Separate yourself from the competition by offering a custom, upscale, elegant enhancement to the bathroom, never before available at these competitive prices.
Easy to Install
The framed mirrors are even easier to install than hanging a mirror with J-bar and mastic. Simply screw the hanging bracket on the wall and hang the mirror. No fuss, no mess, and no waiting for mastic to warm up in cold climates.
Each unit comes with four corner brackets, a hanging rail with screws and anchors, glass blocks, and eight retainer blocks. We recommend that you secure the hanging rail directly to studs for the most secure installation. The anchors are used when you cannot hit a stud.
