Unlike screws or rivets – which join materials at a single point – high-strength bonding tape permanently adheres one substrate to another while spreading the stress load across the entire length of the joint. Once materials are joined with 3M™ VHB™Tape a virtually indestructible “weld” is created.

Vinyl Foam Tape
Closed cell vinyl foam carrier with high tack acrylic adhesive and 3.0 mil, 62 lb. kraft liner. Available in 1/32 to 1/8 in thickness. Medium solvent resistance. High relative adhesion to HSE plastics.
3M™ Extreme Sealing Tape is an acrylic tape that creates water tight seals over numerous substrates. It easily conforms over contours, edges, rivets, and screw heads resulting in a paintable surface with good outdoor durability.
3M™ VHB™ Structural Glazing Tape is a two-sided pressure sensitive acrylic foam tape designed to bond glass to metal frames in glass curtain wall systems. These tapes are specifically designed to withstand the stresses and performance requirements faced in 4-sided unitized shop glazed curtainwall.
