STATbus is American Auto-Matrix’s innovative sensor networking technology. STATbus is an open-topology network protocol that allows flexible connection of up to thirteen I/O devices per channel using a single non-polar, twisted pair cable. This provides unprecedented flexibility in the installation and wiring of I/O devices to the controller. Substantial saving can be realized in both wiring and installation costs as compared to conventional sensors. Also, STATbus uses digital communications signals, giving it a higher level of noise immunity than conventional, analog sensors.
The SmartOne™ line of Application Specific Controllers combines the power and openness of BACnet and BTL listing with the flexibility of distribution availability. These robust high-speed controllers support all standard BACnet baud rates and come in a variety of flavors including Rooftop, Heatpump, Fancoil, and VAV.
American Auto-Matrix believes innovation requires purpose. It was through the identified need for something more powerful than a typical STAT, but less labor intensive than a full blown front-end, that we created the API (Auto-Matrix Point Interface) line of touch-screen displays. The NB-SD (Native BACnet), SBC-SD (AAM Proprietary Protocol) and BBC-SD (BACnet version available for general distribution) allow you to interface with up to 150 unique points on the network. Each screen can have customized text as well as allow viewing and manipulation of data. In addition, the displays have multiuser password protection, allowing for different levels of access to the system. Areas that where these displays are most commonly found are outside of operating rooms, where temperature and humidity regulation is important, on walls in reception areas where multiple point changes might need to be made (i.e. reception changing the temperature in a conference room or office), and in laboratories where room pressurization monitoring is a must.
The NB-SD is a compact, addressable network display device for MS/TP based BACnet networks. It enables users to quickly monitor their system and easily make changes to the way their building is controlled. The wall mounted NB-SD has a touch-screen operator interface with permission based menu icons, allowing simple navigation to read and write BACnet values, view alarms, grouped data, and point descriptions. The NB-SD is easily configured via Windows®-based software utility.
The SBC-SD is a compact, addressable network display device capable of interfacing with SBC and SOLO-Series products that communicate using the American Auto-Matrix PUP network protocol. Easily adaptable to most standard applications, the SBC-SD provides a configurable data interface environment with an icon driven design and can have up to 50 configurable display screens and reference a maximum of 150 points from one or multiple controllers networked on the same PUP data bus. The product also provides useful maintenance utilities that allow you to access any PUP-based point on the network. Interfacing with the unit is achieved through the use of the 12-bit, 480 x 272 pixel LCD-based touch screen display.
The BBC-SD is a BACnet MS/TP-based touch-screen interface providing local display information for BACnet-based Building Automation Systems.
