The WISY Low Capacity Vortex Fine Filter is used in installations where multiple downspouts are connected to a single pipe into the vortex filter. A single unit can filter precipitation from a roof area up to 2,150 square feet for site irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, janitorial use, laundries, fire protection, evaporative cooling tower make-up, process water, or other non-potable uses. The filter is typically installed in the underground piping system to direct debris to the stormwater system and divert up to 95% of clean rainwater to an underground storage tank. An above-grade application is also possible.

The WISY Medium Capacity Vortex Fine Filter is used in installations where multiple downspouts are connected to a single pipe into the vortex filter. A single unit can filter precipitation from a roof area up to 5,500 square feet for site irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, janitorial use, laundries, fire protection, evaporative cooling tower make-up, process water, or other non-potable uses. The filter is typically installed in the underground piping system to direct debris to the stormwater system and divert up to 95% of clean rainwater to an underground storage tank. An above-grade application is also possible. The WISY WFF 150 connects to a 6" pipe for above- or belowground storage. A 20-inch extension tube can be used to raise the inspection opening to ground level. The filter housing is made of polypropylene; filter insert is made of stainless steel. Filter mesh size is 0.28 mm (280 microns). Filter insert requires cleaning a few times a year and is dishwasher safe. Filter inlet, clean water outlet, and stormwater outlet can swivel for custom installation.

A single unit can filter precipitation from a roof area up to 33,000 square feet for site irrigation, toilet and urinal flushing, janitorial use, laundries, fire protection, evaporative cooling tower make-up, process water, or other non-potable uses. The filter is to be installed above ground to direct debris to the stormwater system and divert up to 95% of clean rainwater to a storage tank.

The Stainless Steel WISY WFF 300 connects with a DN300 flange pipe for above-ground storage. The filter housing and the filter insert are made of stainless steel. Filter mesh size is 0.38 mm (380 microns). Filter insert requires cleaning a few times a year and is dishwasher safe.

In contrast to the standard WISY WFF 300, the Stainless Steel version can withstand a max pressure build-up of 87 PSI. The filter is rated for a maximum flow rate of 1,277 gallons per minute.

The WISY overflow device has a flapper valve which allows water to overflow but protects water quality in the cistern with backflow prevention and vermin protection. The overflow device also contains an angled opening to provide skimming of small buoyant debris, such as pollen, on the water surface.

All aboveground polyethylene rainwater storage tanks are manufactured using resins that meet FDA specifications to ensure safe storage of potable water. The black or dark green color limits light penetration which reduces the growth of water-borne algae. All RMS rainwater storage tanks are shipped with the appropriate fittings necessary to connect your rainwater harvesting components. RMS aboveground rainwater storage tanks range in size from 200 gallons to 12,000 gallons.

RMS offers a full range of corrugated, galvanized rainwater storage tanks. These tanks are constructed of Scafco corrugated, galvanized, punched and rolled steel wall sheets that are bolted together at a project site. Most tanks are round structures and range from 6' to 105' diameter. Corrugated rainwater storage tanks generally are fitted with preliners and flexible membrane liners on the inside of the tanks for water containment. The tanks do not have a bottom structure that requires them to be erected on site on a concrete slab. The use of a flexible membrane liner also distributes the water load uniformly across the foundation area. Storage capacity ranges from 600 gallons to 440,000 gallons.
